its entirely due to his transformation. camera mode requires the entire arms to end up inside the lower legs. as for the middle of the back and the forearms. its hardlythe worst weve ever seen. even in this line.

Also.. this will be a $60 camera that doesn’t take photos  

They will look gr8 if there’s a way to peg them onto shockwave or sound waves alt modes!

 

This is gonna be a pass for me. I can't believe how small he is for a deluxe and I'm not spending $60 to have the full camera mode.  

 

While he may be on the small side, its pretty misleading in the picture with him standing next to Siege Ironhyde, who is the biggest deluxe out of the line, and IMO anyways, probably one of the bigger deluxes we gotten in the last few transformers lines.

 

Are you referring to them covering news on KO and 3P figures?

Also in terms of Ton Ton, is there any REAL evidence that he is stealing them? I've worked in a factory/warehouse before, everything in and out is accounted for, Hasbro is a billion dollar company ,steal 1 toy, ok maybe an error but steal 10+ figures and then to share them on YT, IDK, seems like he'd have been caught after the 2nd or 3rd time if he was stealing, its pretty easy for a billion dollar company to find a factory worker / YT personality who's stealing from them etc.

Seems like that rumor may have been started by salty people or people who have no other way to rationalize how he gets them etc.

Kevin Liu used to be the TonTon, got everything early although he was clear and upfront about his relationship with Hasbro.

And we're gonna pay deluxe price for a single figure smaller than standard deluxe?
This price range vs retail price reminds me of the Studio Series Jazz.

Can hasbro sold it as a set and price it like not above voyager class range?
It's just the same molds anyway.

 

So 3x....20 more dollars....no thanks...he\'s cool, but, these prices are too much.....

 

Ironhide is almost as big as Soundwave.
Reflector looks fine by me. Price range is a bit too much but not overly exaggerated.
And I think he will sell out fast.

 

Just checked size by the highly scientific method of holding my Siege Ironhide and Sideswipe in front of the monitor, then wheeling my chair around until Ironhide is the same size as onscreen (SCIENCE!) and I think Refraktor is the same height as Sideswipe.

 

Man,.... i can't wait to get my hands on this character since we have to buy 3 to make camera mode. I thought the transformation of him into camera mode was genius. So by using the guns to make the tripod and of course the shield is the camera scope was awesome. I know I'm getting all 3 of them but it's going to be X2 so bots and camera mode oh yeah.

 

The shutter being detachable (and apparently on a 5mm port) means you can take them off the other two in the trio. Which is a nice touch.

My main concern is the camera doesn't seem to hold together all that well. But the idea that you could potentially peg Reflectors side to side beyond just three is kinda funny.

 

I give them credit. As behind as they are to the third party toys they still have some nice figures and their own way of stylizing and transformations. I have visualizer by maketoys but I will probably end up getting this too

No way that is worth $60+

 

I agree, don't feel they are worth $60. I can't see myself buying them at $60, I'll wait til a sale comes about or clearance. I feel more comfortable with each at $15. Maybe I'll buy 1 at msrp, and then another 2 down the road for $10-$12 each (if I actually like the one I've bought).

 

I wonder if that is actually a thing that will work. They are 3 how many will there be in 1 case? Or will Hasbro have reflector only cases aside from a regular case? Thing is many people will buy 3, so if they sell out fast getting 2 down the road might not be an option. Or you even have to pay more.

 

...probably not as a single figure, no, but as troop-builders?..i have a shelf full of sharkticons and allicons that says otherwise...

 

I was oddly looking forward to Reflector's individual alternate mode the most. He really looks like he turns into a gun a combiner would hold. ...if he had any 5mm posts on his underside...

 

Wow. I expected them to be bigger, no way are these guys worth $20 each to me. Looks like I'm picking up the MFT set instead.
