Really sad news. I don't remember when I started lurking around here but it always seemed like tcracker/Simon's contributions were always part of the TF collecting experience. He was one of us and had a strong voice in the community. He got me and I'm sure many others to buy figures we weren't planning on through his great photography. His contributions also inspired us to pick up a camera and explore new areas of the hobby. I'm glad he was still able to get enjoyment out of this hobby up until his passing. RIP
Having just read this, I am honestly gutted. My god... I feel like he was JUST posting here up until a few days ago, and like most others, had NO idea he was sick. I don't even know what to say... it's just unbelievably tragic and sad... and I'm so very sorry to everyone that knew him personally. My memories of TCracker are mainly "back in the day" when he would relay teases about new Masterpieces, and ost specifically waaaaay back in the day, when he sort of heard about the revised MP line that would start to include official licensed cars - Sideswipe being the first and subsequent conformation of that rumor. Fast forward a few years later, and he started posting some EPIC photos he would take of Masterpieces. I was already doing my own graphic design composites of MP figures for fellow TF fans, but I was always using Takara's official photos to manipulate. Then TCracker posted a bunch of HIS photos of MP-36 Megatron one day, and they were SO damn good, I asked if I could use one of his instead of picking through Takara's stock pics. He said "of course!", I said thanks, I did it, he loved it, and he's the only person I ever printed off a finished poster for. Here's a low res preview of the 'before & after' - his excellent original pic on the left... And then he went on to take even MORE amazing photos of so many other figures thereafter. I'm not really impressed by most pics I see people post here, but I definitely was by his. Especially since he always got better as he went. I know we've lost members here before, but this one... wow... it's gonna take a while to fully process his loss. Once again, my sincerest condolences to his friends and family. Respect to you, TCracker. You will be missed.
This is very sad news. Your posts have always been beautiful and inspirational. You will be deeply missed.
Aw, man. I've seen his posts many times and they were all so amazing. Rest in peace, TCracker. You will be missed.
RIP TCracker! I remembered PM TCracker about MP UM going back to 2011. Wow, I didn't expect to hear such sad news. It sure felt like yesterday. He's definitely a true TF fan, gotta tip my hat to him.
I’m in 100% agreement with this. He deserves to be memorialized abd this would be a wonderful way to honor his legacy. I’d also like to say that we’ve lost prominent board members in the past and they were paid tribute in a front page news item. I’m hoping that something similar is being put together in honor of TCracker, and that perhaps it’s just too soon for anyone to post it today. TC was an incredible contributor to this place and a genuinely excellent person. It would be disappointing not to see him recognized as others have been.
Always loved seeing his photos. R. I. P. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all affected. God bless him and everything he was, a part of him will always live on in these forums, his impact is huge and always will be.
TCracker was a wonderful and cherished member of this community. He provided good conversation, insight into the behind the scenes workings of this brand, and some of the most breathtaking photography I’ve ever seen. He will be greatly missed, and my heart goes out to all who knew him, or had the pleasure to interact with him over the years. Rest In Peace TCracker, til all are one.
I have not been very active on the forum for a while but it is hard to have missed his contributions while lurking about in my downtime. Very sorry for this loss.
This is such sad news. Best wishes to the families and may he Rest In Peace. TCracker is one with the Allspark now, Till All Are One.
TFW2005 Member TCracker Passes Away - Transformers News - TFW2005 I hope my words serve well. Really gonna miss him and all that he shared. That Drift was a favorite custom of mine, btw.
Really enjoyed his photography which pushed me to grab more than a figure or two. Very sad that he had to go far too soon, and hopefully his spirit will get to see MP-44 when it comes out. Condolences to his family.
Huh, he was a great member of these board. RIP and sincere condolence to those who personally knew him.
Rest in piece, TCracker. You'll be dearly missed, but your contributions to the fandom will live on forever. Til all are one.
