You know all of those hidden messages? Yeah, I just realized something about the cartoon

The last known location thing. It probably means... something I'm not sure what. It just seems weird that they would put the location data for no real reason. That we know of anyway

 

I think it could well just be world building, establishing Cybertron as a setting with numerous locales.

 

I'd rather it be a hint at a zombie Impactor release, but I find it unlikely.

The story of Kalis, the underground fusion reactor and the Legion of the Lost are all from the G1 comics, specifically the UK comics. Given the presence of Ultra Magnus, Flywheels, Impactor and Springer, there's definitely high representation from City of Fear in this line. Flame is also unlikely, so are Sizzle, Fizzle and Guzzle due to the lack of Legends class.

 

So I've been thinking of ways to bolster Decepticon ranks and also give them more weaponizers and while watching Transformers Prime and with my Sixgun off to the side I realised Sixgun and the Vehicons look a bit similar, so I did a digibashed recolour job of Sixgun inspired by Prime Vehicons. Obviously if Hasbro did do this they could probably do some new molds for things like a new head and/or some of his parts. Anyway I thought I'd share it in here.

 

I'm going to use this as an opportunity to once again propose a crazy awesome idea I had:

Leader Evolution Fire Convoy with deluxe Pyro inside, which is then heavily retooled into Leader Evolution Scourge (RiD) with deluxe Clench inside.

(and then Scourge/Clench could be repainted/retooled into G2 Optimus Prime for an exclusive.)

Could the firecons end up getting figures. I’ve been guessing that most of the siege themed characters that shown up in the cards that don’t have figures are either concept art or upcoming figures in the 2nd or 3rd parts of wfc. Maybe I’m wrong I don’t know

 

the guy in charge of the game said in an interview that they didnt have figures to base these 3 off of, so they are merely modern interpretations of their old designs and not concepts for figures

 

But they do "technically" have a model for Cindersaur. He was just a repaint of PotP Slash. Maybe they didn't want to use repaints for character designs?

 

Probably. If I were the designer, I'd want to create a new design. Otherwise your stuck with one PotP design and two new designs. Might as well make all 3 new designs since these guys are a subgroup. The alternative would be for all three to be based off PotP Slash-- which is fine but again, I think the designer and Hasbro would want something forward looking and new, not old.

Probably not any "filler" repaints. But I'm betting they'd have, say, a card of Siege Barricade and Selects Smokescreen using the same model, for instance. The more """"canon"""" repaints.

Granted, TCG Siege Skywarp isn't using the Siege Seeker mold, but I suspect that's because toy Siege Skywarp isn't being released till toy Siege Wave3, and TCG Wave3 is just covering up to toy Siege Wave2. I'd say that toy Siege Skywarp will be represented in TCG Wave4.

 

A fair point for answering the quoted question, but I'm just confused by the designer's statement. They haven't been reticent to use other toys as models for the cards instead of just making one up. Universe, Fall of Cybertron, Classics, PotP, and TR were all mined for character images so why abandon the figure that does exist? Were there any other cards that used a new design even though a toy had been recently released? I dont know, I haven't been following the card game closely.

New, more fitting toys for Sparkstalker, Cindersaur and especially Flamefeather who I owned as a kid would rock.
That Dinobot nobody asked for redecoed in Cindersaur colors doesn't cut it at all.
I'm ready for three new Firecons from a new nice and chunky base mold.

 

Am I the only one that is super excited about Bulky Firecons. These need to be short deluxe at least.

If they ever do a guzzle or a better legendish sized warpath, both characters could share the same mold, with some slight tweeks. For example on the warpath figure, part of the turret could fold forward and peg into part body and become a part of the chest, while on the guzzle retool, the tank turret is just on his back but you can still fold it over and make guzzle look like warpath. It’s like what they did with some of the potp dinobots and terrorcons, having someone like swoop transform differently than the remolded cutthroat

 

Was there a photo that called the purple Pteraxadon repaint Giza and the Aimless repaint Zarak, or am I crazy? Can't find the picture. Don't remember who the Firebolt repaint was though.
