Ehhh, Why is he so shiny? Why does he looks like he's from the movie Cars in vehicle mode? I'm happy with my Badcube Brawny.

 

I love how clean yet styled their designs are.
Perceptor seems like he was designed with a different direction in mind.

If they plan on making Hunk very green they might as well call it Hulk  

That said, these colours are pleasant to look at. The widow colour works as well. Considering it's not real world accurate to begin with they did a good job.

 

Will wait for the toy colours repaint (with black rather than blue tinted windows).

this and Jabber will be my last 2 FT purchases if the QC issues remain unaddressed. It’s a shame too because I once believed this company could do no wrong. Hopefully this one and Jabber can restore some of the luster I feel this company has lost over the past couple of years. That said-this Brawn looks amazing. I am cautiously optimistic but still remember that Quietus looks amazing too(before he snapped in half and all of the paint peeled off his chest).

Why so shiny?

 

People who want 'premium' paint have finally ruined it for everyone.

 

Maybe it'll be like FT-10X where it's just their pics, but the actual won't be anywhere near that blingy...

 

Face on the front of the car mode is one of those "can't unsee" things. I hope they fix that!

 

I really like metallic paint but get the shade right.

 

The good: in color, I think the sculpt looks great in both modes - miles ahead of BadCube Brawny. The feet could look better, but they're nowhere near as distracting as they were in the gray prototype.

The bad: while it might look better in color, all the colors are off! The green is too light and shiny, the gray on the arms and knees is practically white, and the yellow on the chest should be slightly more orange.

Also, IMO the eyes in the headlights have got to go. The cat eyes with Savant (XTB Skids) were distracting enough, but this looks totally ridiculous. There is also something weird going on right next to the headlights - is that a screw hole next to the yellow indicator light?

 

Because, apparently FT is drinking the Kool Aid as much as the goofballs that believe 'more metal = mo' better'. I can't wait for the chips, flakes and corrosion, as well as balance being thrown off!

I was there in the beginning, and I guess I was a 'Fans Toys boy', but in the last few years I've become increasingly dissatisfied with their design choices and quality.

Do you mean the gloss metal flake/pearl finish on a true sports ute? 'Cause, yeah, if somebody's gonna have flat, faded matte paint, it's Brawn.

Bingo. Lime Ice or metallic Chartreuse don't look right. Try Olive, FT.

 

Too shiny. All the latest wave renders are much too shiny.

Also, still finding it hard to get excited about Brawl when BadCube's still looks good on the shelf. There are much more important figures to get out like Thomas, Jabber, Chomp, Sheridan, Berserk.

 

i really don't like badcubes which is why i never bought it so a good brawn is of more importance to me than all mentioned apart from sheriden
