There is something REAL broken about this website and how it deals with subscriptions. It needs to be fixed.

 

I fixed most. I may have missed a few Scrapper backwards hands, but caught all the forearm problems. Other problems I caught were duplicate Long Haul hands and Scavenger combiner-elbows put on backwards and a Hook that was missing an arm.

Been around a while.
The cell phone optimus (proper one) is a diff design. I got the impression these fruity Ali ones are just a generic design robot more than a ko.
Or at least a KO of a non-TF brand generic robot.

But they may have used some base thing for it?
$2 quality for sure.

Ko's of transformers infobar from TT?

I got a few sets, pretty cool... they go with the tablets, flip phones, watches, etc. that I have.

 

I bought three of these amazing downsized devastators from sir toys, and yeah Scrappers forearms were switched to the correct way ( I appreciate the effort to fix them ) BUT the hands on all three of my scrappers are on backwards then and they are PINNED in, so the only way to fix that would be take out the pins and switch the hands, which I am too incompetent to do.

I have chosen to put the forearms back to the incorrect way as the robot mode is more important to me and would want the hands the right way more than the vehicle mode being correct . I dont think my kids or I would notice that anyways in vehicle mode but we would sure realize it in robot mode.

Another reason I hope the PE kit gets downsized, those forearms would fix this

WITH THAT SAID, I dont regret my purchase and would purchase it again even with this knowledge, the set is just too good to pass up

 

Found these (most probably overpriced) quasi-KO style robots at "Yamashiroya" in Ueno, Tokyo. They turn from robots into "umaibo" ( Umaibō - Wikipedia ) corn snacks. They looked like poor quality though.

 

Such elaborate packaging for such a terrible-looking toy!

Do you have the prime or any of the official ones? The ali former is a diff shape, proportions and parts to my eyes. Also one is old touch button phone, other is a modern style smartphone/ touchscreen. Maybe they super simplified them, but the transformation looks your basic G1 Soundwave that anyone can do these days even with a 3d printers etc.

So I assumed they were just generic bots, be interested to know if they did base it off the actual licensed TF phone thing (that was supposed to be crap, I never got one).  



I was tempted to get one of the ones off Ali even for novelty, but I assume they would break even when playing with them, how are they in hand?

On a side note, I wish proper TF would bring back Real Gear / Microchange or some equivalent that stuck with the 1:1 scale real world objects.

Sure everything if a flat square or cube LCD these days with glass, but still plenty of other real world objects they could turn into without just being stupid shellformers.

 

I assume that cartoon on the side is knock off Doraemon too?

I have a question regarding that undersized CW Devastator - are these flaws common? Can you tell how many (may be in "%") of these you got were flawed? I'm mostly concerned about serious flaws that are impossible to fix (like that Scrapper with two left forearms), I think I'm capable of fixing minor ones like switching Scrapper's forearms and fists  .

 

The most remarkable thing in all of this is how much better the proportions and style on the cheap KO look compared to the official products.
