    I wonder if this kit will work on the KO as well since that’s what I have (the official is just too expensive for what it is).

    Well now that my Ironhide’s bakpack smokestack assembly broke off I don’t know how interesting this is for me.  Seriously I was just transforming his backpack and the two tiny sprews holding it to the body just snapped.  The second time this has happened with an MPM: Optimus’s left door broke just twisting it on the hinge.

    Huh, I’m pretty rough with my figures yet they are always fine. Guess that’s the thing with movie bots, thinner designs and structure needed.

    I wouldn't know because I've never owned the official. I will say that there are a few loose parts on the figure, like the head swivel for example but besides that It's a pretty descent KO IMO.

    Why hasn't somebody made an improved version yet? Like the LT-01 Prime that I have? I'd actually take an Ironhide that's a bit bigger too.

    Count me in. I already picked up their upgrades for SS Megatron and Ironhide. This seems like a no-brainer.

    I believe he had them on his DOTM toys. Not sure if they ever appeared in the movies though.

    This is awesome i was hoping there would be an upgrade kit for MPM Ironhide its such a cool figure but with all the issues it has it mostly serves as a paper weight but with this kit im really excited to use if for Ironhide

    No he never had knives, but IMO it fits the character and it makes him go even better with Hound (the team up of my dreams).
