I had a thought the other day. What if they waited to Star Saber until Chapt. 3, and called Chapt. 3 Victory?

Ha! I'd like that(better than the BW/Unicorn trilogy updates I'm expecting). War for Cybertron: Victory, with loads of JG1 and Euro G1.5 updates would be very satisfying. Let's hope Hasbro think there's the appetite for it

I've been saying just that for a very long time, now.

That is a neat idea. Honestly thinking about it more I feel like Beast Wars deserves to have it's own dedicated line/subline for it's anniversary, rather than be shoe-horned into an existing one.

That's not to say I would be opposed to versions of BW characters and/or concepts turning up in WFC at some point though, especially if my theory of WFC being the past of the Prime Wars storyline, mostly because as bad as a lot of the Machinima series was I would like to see them explore this alternate take on Optimus Primal and the sequel hook setup at the end of Power of the Primes.

I think that'd be great. I guess it all comes down to how confident Hasbro are about a dedicated line like that working in the budget they have. That feels a bit 'all or nothing'. My gut (as I have zero actual insight) says that it'd be a safer bet to integrate BW updates into the Generations line.

After scorpinok, which they probably will do I kinda think hastak should rerelease reissue? Genrations metroplex as a titan in wfc, the 35 line or gen selects. I mean it’s hard to get a hold of and it would be cheap to make. Or would that be ridiculous?

Yeah sorry, I meant to say I see it as a Generations line :)

I feel like Primal winning the PotP Poll especially, as well as several BW characters having won several of the fan votes for the Hall of Fame in the past shows Hasbro there is still a lot of love for the BW cast out there, though now I'm curious how well the PotP Optimal Optimus sold?

If they were to try a more general appeal BW or BW-ish theme I suspect it might be safer for them to have it have a mixture of Beast and Vehicle Alt Modes, rather than purely beast. Maybe have Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals and Predacons all in one theme with new lore to back it up with them being contemporaries rather than ancestors/descendants?

Eh...the last time they did do that, they shelf warmed well atleast in my area, with T30, I don’t know if that counts as a reason not to integrate beast wars updates in generations but eh, I thought I’d bring it up. For me personally, I would prefer if updates for figures from other lines were in Their own line. It feels weird to have a cybertron and a g1 optimus in the same line

Give me season 1 & 2 Beast War characters with prioritized robot mode sculpts. I don’t care if the beast modes don’t look that great.

Ultimately, if it’s only 5 maximals and 5 predacon releases I’m cool with that.

    Do it HasTak!

I can't find the damned link now but I'm sure one article on 'em I saw had the listing blurb for the battle pack one of the names cited for the Battle Masters included was ZARAK and the other two were new, or at least unfamiliar to me.

    I could dig it.

    WFC: Siege
    WFC: Chaos
    WFC: Victory

Chaos could be like TR and cover two Titan releases. So you get Scorponok in 2020 and Unicron in 2021 (he makes sense as the Chaos Bringer) for the 35th. Victory launches early 2021 and you get BW anniversary starting to roll out before Christmas.

I kind of think a reissue Metroplex would be ridiculous from Hasbro. Less so from Takara, who just reissues stuff more often.

I feel like Hasbro would want a retool which incorporates some of Maximus’ engineering because T30 Metroplex has more of a video game/anime/IDW set of proportions that doesn’t fit WFC’s style.

It’s not UNTHINKABLE to me that we’d get a Metroplex retool from Hasbro but I think we’d only see it after Scorponok and Unicron and it would be weighed against demand. I almost feel like Titans beyond Scorponok and Unicron will end up on Haslab. It’s a lot of plastic only for half the run to wind up at Ollie’s and Ross.

Plus, those titles work from a basic story standpoint. The Decepticons successfully siege Iacon, meaning that they've conquered the entirety of the planet. With Optimus Prime and his crew aboard the Ark gone, things turn to chaos for the Autobots left behind on Cybertron. Then, a new group of heroes arrive, and, with the help of some old favorites, the war is finally brought to a close with an Autobot victory.

It also works in that I expect they’ll run out of highly marketable Decepticons by Part 3 so with a title like “Victory”, you can actually justify the A to D product ratio.

I'm looking at Part 2: Chaos and I'm thinking...

    Leaders:
    Thunder Clash
    Skyquake
    Thunderwing

    Voyagers:
    Hot Rod
    Blaster
    Rotorstorm
    Galvatron
    Stalker
    Doubledealer

    Deluxe:
    Remainder of Turbomasters
    Remainder of Predators
    Crosshairs
    Pointblank
    Spinister
    Needlenose

That basically fills the larger slots of the line. Fill up the Battle Masters and Micromasters with whoever you like.

If they do Thunder Clash, they'll have the opportunity to do a MW Optimus Prime as some kind of exclusive or Generations Select kind of thing.

Well I didn't think that they will called them "Chaos" and "Victory", but I think that they might called parts 2 and 3 as "Exodus" to explain how the Autobots in the Ark explore their colony planets for soonable home for them while the Decepticons in the Nemesis try to hunt down any remaining Autobots from Great War, but need help from Bounty Hunters, and "Seeds of the Future" to do a cross anniversary of Maximals of the Beast Era meets the 1986/87 Autobots to fight both the Beast Era Predacons and 1986/87 Decepticons.
