I know that both the Dinobots (Legendary Knights or Legendary Warriors as they want to call them) and the Guardians Knights (Knights of Iacon according to Daytrader) had an almost null development in the Bayverse only introduced to be baddass and striking (who do not like to see dinosaurs and dragons and on top of being robots) Well, although I like the designs of both groups of knights I prefer more to the Dinobots, I have some doubts about these transformers and they are as follows:
    * How many Guardians Knights appear in TLK since apparently are more than 12?
    * Are the Dinobots truly Knights or was it just an erroneous assumption of Lockdown?
    * Where did the Baby Dinobots come from?
    * Which designs do you like the Knights of Iacon or The Dinobots?
    * There are several Steelbane and Dragonicus is say there are a lot of Knights in the same way in TLK?
    * Where did Talisman Knight come from to be in Chicago?
    * The Dinobots stayed on Earth after the Autobots left at the end of TLK?

Answers that we're sadly not going to see happen anytime soon i'm afraid given the new direction Paramount and Hasbro are taking with Bumblebee doing well enough to warrant it. Shame too because there's a lot of interesting lore and storylines to have been explored along with how they came to be.

The only individual in AoE who is definitely a Knight of the same order as Optimus is Optimus himself. Never was it confirmed the Dinobots were Knights, although there certainly might be a connection (it's likely even), and Optimus and Grimlock, who is hanging upside down, notice each other when Prime is imprisoned, so there seems to be at least curiosity, if not a recognition, between them.

A bigger question is why did The Last Knight introduce a new group of Knights that doesn't seem consistent with how Lockdown described them? I don't have a problem with there being different orders or groups of Cybertronian Knights in the same universe, but I wish there was some sort of consistency between TLK and AoE in this regard, or at least as an explanation (i.e. confirm that Lockdown and/or Quintessa were lying, or confirm that there were indeed different groups of Knights, and Lockdown was merely after one group of them).

I don't think there was a big difference in quality between TLK and, say, RotF as individual films...they're about the same I'd say...but in terms of being sequels, I'd say the other films were better as sequels than TLK. Especially given AoE gave its sequel more to work with than probably any of the other Bayformers films, so why TLK tried switching things up so much is something I don't understand.

Unfortunately a lot of changes were made during tf5 production. Ideally the rest of the dinobot/guardian knights could've been part of tf5 story.

This is the only one that has a proper answer. It's mentioned in dialogue that a small ship was just shot down and the TRF was sending in those ED209 copies to investigate. That ship was the Talisman knight. That's why Cade and Bee turned up, they were investigating the crash.

That's a very good question that I hadn't thought of. Well apperantly the writers of the movie hadn't as well. In my opinion they should've been part of the same knight order - 'The grate crusaders".
