Just got these three from a local seller on Ebay for a little bit more than 80 euros, the seller was kind enough to add in Slipstream for free too!

They are my first Legends figures, i wasn't even considering buying anything of that scale but i know Starscream is pretty rare so i figured if anything i could sell them but hot damn they are amazing! I was expecting them to be fragile or delicate but they are built like bricks, and they look amazing. I feel like my wallet might be in danger once again

Awesome! I can't decide whether to go with Iron Factory or War in Pocket for my Seekers. I think the DX9 are smaller so may go better with my NewAge figures.

I can't speak for the DX9, but i really recommend these guys, i personally love their style. They're around 10 cm tall if that helps.

The DX9 Seekers and the Iron Factory Seekers are pretty much the same size.

Thanks! So just under 4" tall. Looking up the War in Pocket series, they are the same... touch decision.

Also looking for a good Legends scale Devastator. Hulkie looks great, but he may be too small. As a kid, I always hated that my car bots were bigger than the construction vehicles.

I just realized that. I guess it comes down to design and availability.

The IF Seekers are wonderful bots, but if you can currently find a Starscream at a price you can live with, you should jump on it. He's considerably hard to find.

There are three KOs of Hulkie. MFT is the same size as DX9 but yuexiang (or something like that) is bigger, and Wei Jiang is bigger still. Wei Jiang pictured below (crouching) with HS Soundwave and Optimus, MFT Seekers, Megatron, and Shockwave, and NA Prowl to give you a good comparison with multiple scales.

I am. Here they are with Devastator and some other bots.

I'm still a big fan of the original DX9 version MFT knocked off. So if you like the size of the MFT versions, I'd recommend them for sure.

If anything, the DX9 version is slightly taller depending on how you position the legs of the IF version. (I don't think they're extended as far as they can go in this pic.)

Wow! The Wei Jiang Devastator is very nice, and cheap!

Thank you! I can find a set of all three DX9 seekers. My new favorite store only has Thundercracker, Skywarp, and an all purple "clone" available from IF. I am leaning towards those though.

Of the MFT seekers, I only use the "Fighter Club" set... Because pocket Toys/DX9 didn't produce those colors. I prefer the smaller size of the DX9/Pocket Toys and IF stuff in general. Even though I have the primary 6 seekers from Pocket Toys(1-for-1 copies of DX9 War in Pocket sets), I also include the IF versions of the "generics" to appease my own "Head Canon" and so I can enjoy all of the different versions... In my mind it goes like this:
    :dj

-Starscream's ego convinces Skywarp and Thundercracker to alter their superstructures to match his. They become his lackeys, straight up.
-The three of them join Megatron's new army. Megatron welcomes powerful new flyers.
-Because Decepticons seem to be obsessed with gaining power(physical and political), Megatron gets Shockwave to attempt Cloning them to bolster his ranks.
-Shockwave succeeds in cloning and enhancement, creating the "Conehead" Super Jets. More powerful, unique personalities, but somewhat lower intelligence.
-Immediately afterwards, an Autobot attack destroys Shockwave's lab and all of his project data, so he's forced to start over. From Scratch.
-In his mostly rebuilt lab, Shockwave creates the guys in the MFT "Fighter Club" using combined "CNA" from the Original Seekers AND the Super Jets, but doesn't get it quite right, resulting in significantly larger and stronger soldiers, but with wildly unstable powers and severely low IQ's. The Purple one was the worst; basically a non-sentient drone, so Shockwave focuses on him. After a while, Shockwave succeeds in creating "Drone Seekers" with highly advanced bodies but no special powers and severely limited intelligence(those Amethyst and soon-to-be-released "Kallite" figures just scream "Troop Builder!" to me), and Starscream controls the Drones with his Crown("Air Commander", et al).
-SlipStream was a mutation that developed in the second stage of drone clone production... The "Kallite" figures would come after her in terms of production numbers, but SlipStream IS sentient, she only feigns to be a drone...
    ---

I am still acquiring more Iron Factory Amethyst figures and will get 3 or 4 of the Kallite ones when they are released to complete this unit.

...Not that anyone asked for this exercise in mental and story gymnastics to explain the mixing of scales and brands to form my Decepticon Air Force, but I do think it works. AND, I am very proud of my display.

I thought the Iron Factory seekers were about the same size as a CW legends class. The DX9s are about a head taller - too big for me but it's up to you.

    Thankies!

I used to roleplay and there I had my own OCs (like the one in my signature) so I always like to know peoples fiction (unless it involves a human girl being impregnated by a cybertronian... or things like that).
