Any news on accessories? Like with the BMB DOTM version. It comes with the knuckle dusters, the axe, the hooks, the BFG, and other accessories, I'm hoping this gets some of those too.

 

I guess it will get the standard accessories. And then someone will make these accessories. Perhaps?

 

Yeah I think we would’ve seen anything new by now, but honestly I’m satisfied with what they’re giving us. Only thing I’m hoping for is that they kept the flip out battle mask feature. Idk if they were able to since the plastic may not be solid enough at that size

 

Hey guys, I've been on this forum since it was at 40 pages, but I only recently made an account. So far, I think the best thing we can do is to hope that they make a DOTM version; that way, the abs sticking out wont really matter as much to me.

 

In the listings sais that's a ROTF and DOTM, probably will have two intercheangable ABS.

 

I think the biggest wait right now is getting the paint application right without chipping and nailing the tolerances. We have had to wait this long, I don't want something substandard.

 

Did watch the entire video - has nothing to do with this thread beyond the name "Optimus Prime" and that it's one of his Bayverse incarnations. It's just a few shots from a show for AA's Hound, El Cid V2 and Soundwave, with a bit of text in between.

@frdx This thread is about Wei Jiang's oversized/modified MPM-4, which is based on his 2007 movie appearance. I believe they're discussing the one in the video you linked over in the original El Cid thread, pending a better designation for it than "El Cid V2".

I can't decide if I take the tarnished truck as very tasty. Yeah it's a new perspective on the predominantly pristine prime-mobile all present patrons have previously purchased at least one of, probably, but there was something fetchingly fascinating found in faultless Ferraris reforming into rugged roughed up robots. Whenever I do custom paints, which is rare now, I leave the vehicle mode shiny (when I'm not color correcting it) and only wash/shade/drybrush/damage (washadrymage?) the robots' robits.

 

I think this is the biggest advantage of Faux parts; they look similar to the vehicle parts but can have extra detail in robot mode.

 

I am not against faux parts if the actual use of the "real parts" is impossible, but I think that their use should be kept to a minimum, not only the goal of a "perfect transformation" is achieved but it could also reduce the amount of big parts and increase the storage space, which in turn reduce "backpacks" and non accurate "kibble" at the cost of increased complexity.

The rear tires transformation process of this figure proves my point.
