I get that Gojira is the name of the film, but then the film after that should be called "Gojira's Counterattack", but no one uses the Japanese names for any of the other films.

What I am saying is that from what I know, it doesn't have an English title proper unlike the following movies. It's just Gojira all the way through.

Because when the real version of the movie was finally released in the US they decided to title it as Gojira to not confuse it with the infirior US cut and further show that they're two different beasts.
No, you're constantly glossing over the fact that we can't judge this version of Kong properly yet. The movie and creators state that Kong was a child.
We even see him use weaponry. We have no idea what abilities he might pull out of his ass now after 40 years. All we know is that he's already far more powerful and capable than his previous incarnations.
Plus, the movie is supposed to start right after KOTM, so Godzilla will likely be heavily wounded and exhausted.
No. Just questioning why you get so amped up about something you claim to not care about.
You got angry at an old classic, questioned the decision behind it, it was pointed out why and you double down.
You ignore how Skull Island set up Kong as more powerful than any previous incarnation while still being a child.
Nope, I'm not mad, if anything I'm starting to get amused.
There are five Godzilla movies that were created as a creative and artistic way to say something, the rest exist to make money and be stupid entertainment.
The Legendary series is a homage to the stupid entertainment people love.
The only decision behind Kong vs Godzilla is "it's the two most popular monsters, there already was a version of this that was massively successful and beloved to this day so lets do this".
And no, I do not refuse to see why you don't like the concept, I dislike het concept myself. I'm just not really bothered by it.

Clearly, you still ignore what I have to say.* Making him bigger won't make a difference from what we've seen. Pulling stuff out of his ass after a solo movie to set him up is bad writing. Homaging stupid entertainment still makes that thing stupid unless you find a way to add to it and people can point that out without a "u mAD bRo." It's terribly idiotic.

You're just admitting that you're just being haughty, now? Literally the only difference between how we see things, apparently, is your lack of something that you perceive I have. Amusement over some flaw you projected onto me. Great look there, essentially saying that you think you're better than someone for some random, false perception.

And what you're being smug over is completely misplaced; I am not getting mad at some old movie — read my original post. I linked it, for God's sake. Here's it quoted now so you can read it:
Literally, "Why would they think this is a good idea?" Not the "GrR, fUcK THe oLd clAsSiC" thing you are painting this as. Godzilla fans came in with long responses. And me responding to them can never be just a conversation, there always has to be a dramatic mood according to you (and the guy who liked your post, it seems.) People behaving the way you have been are what is bothersome. Welcome to my ignore list.

*EDIT: It occurs to me that I apparently glossed over Kong growing...
... by addressing Kong growing no less than four times. Funny, huh?

Anyone else really love that shot where Mothra is shining so bright she’s like the sun breaking apart the storm? The music and slow motions of her wings really makes the image quite spectacular, especially in contrast to the dark and fiery scenes of the others.

Using her god rays to vanquish the darkness. Beautiful scene, every shot that we've seen so far could honestly be a modern day Renaissance painting.

I like how it's more direct in showing Ghidorah but at the same time there's an homage to the way 2014 was filmed with a more ground level view, especially watching his rise from the ice from the third person perspective of the soldiers running away, and as Godzilla's atomic breath shoots out of the ice, it's from inside the humvee. At the same time, it's giving us a clear view of the spectacle. We see it from the human point of view, and then the monster movie wide shot perspective as well.

and I like the break in the soundtrack and all we hear is the noises coming from Ghidorah.

Damn that scene is powerful. The intensity of the music as Ghidorah rises and destroys, the cut to silence as he suddenly realizes something's coming, and then a more haunting tone as two ancient rivals confront each other. There's almost a kind of beauty to it, a certain majesty to how these titans stand poised for war amidst the ice.

Similar to how Godzilla's mannerisms were based on bears and komodo dragons, there's a lot of snake in Ghidorah's actions. Obviously in how the dragon rattles his tails threateningly, one head flicking his tongue out, the way his necks angle themselves and spreading his wings like a cobra's hood. His expressions do wonders for how he's reacting to Godzilla; right head is constantly baring his teeth, looking outraged, while middle head sizes up his opponent and challenges him. Left head, surprisingly, seems unsure about this, glancing towards the others at least twice before steeling himself. Perhaps remembering how he became entombed in the ice to start with? Just those little touches to emphasize the differences between them.

Aw geez, I could wax lyrical about him all day. Ghidorah's just got a lot of personality rocking from his threat displays to that cruel smile.

Godzilla himself, he was roaring all day when confronting the mutos, but here, he just snorts and glares. There's loathing in his eyes. This is no mere parasite he must stomp out, this is an awful creature he's infuriated to see back up and about, and perhaps uneasy. No effort to loudly assert himself as the big dog, just a quiet steadiness as he prepares for round two with his worst enemy.

    This good.

I like how they actually try to intimidate each other like animals to show dominance before just fighting. Ghidorah flaring his wings to look even bigger, Godzilla not backing down. The real animal traits are the best part of these monsters.

They're treating them like real animals.

The fact that they're making noises is what's really setting the scale and ambience. I'll always think Godzilla 1984 was the scarier of the films because of the moments where it's dead silence save for Godzilla's growling noises.

While not Godzilla related, I thought it would be cool to share this, YTChannel Wikizilla poster a two part video of the Heisei Gamera History and Profile. Enjoy.

One thing that I absolutely loved about the footage of Ghidorah's emergence and eventual stand off with Godzilla, is how weirdly reserved that whole sequence was when the two of them met. It wasn’t bombastic nor over the top, but truly felt as though Godzilla and Ghidorah were some old, OLD rivals that have done this song and dance many times before, and whatever that needed to be said has already been spoken. The only real showboating was from Ghidorah, because he’s always kind of been a crazy and boastful prick, whereas Godzilla was just ready to go.

Plus, side note, Ghidorah made the classic, "bidibidibidi", giggle as the right head flicked his tongue. Instant brownie points there. I also love how Ghidorah's horns and necks flare out like that of a massive cobra to make themselves look that more imposing and massive, combined with their utterly expansive wingspan that is seemingly already causing storms before the dragon has even taken flight yet. Plus, a cool detail that I'm seeing with Ghidorah's horns are their similarities with past incarnations.

The middle head has horns aligned like that of a wavy main or crown some what, similar to Showa's, whilst the right head's long and skinny ones are straight up Heisei, and the left's more stubbier horns remind me of one of the heads from Keizer Ghiddy, oddly enough. All in all, Legendary Ghidorah is literally what I have personally dreamed of for this character: A beautiful and regal dragon whom is yet a vessel of absorb destruction and chaos, who slaughters worlds probably because they think it's a good ol' time.
