Assuming that is actually true, yours is among the small minority of exceptions. That's why this fix and video was posted.
Interesting, wonder how FansToys's members will be thin. Xtb winning combined form right now for me, but I still waiting for DX9.
Kinda tired of hearing how XTB is winning the combined form since they don't even have a new render showing how their Menasor will look like without those arm shells.
Yeah...i think the XTB cars are too small to work with a 50cm ish combiner without the shells...and given the shells was part of the design from XTB, it does worry me how it will turn out. They're redesigning things and that's a worry with all 4 limbs ready to go. I think I've swung from XTB combined and DX9 for bot, to FT for bot (not confident combined mode will be stable, given how heavy Roadking is on his own!) and DX9 combined.
And that is the reason why we need to see rest car bots. I think that arm shells are the only solution how to make Menasor looking good. FansToys's Marauder looks like arm bots are designed to transform in arm without any additional parts, well, hands only, and it does not look right to me.
At the end of the day, I think there's still plenty of unanswered questions pertaining to all 3 sets.
I have greater confidence in XTB and Fanstoys as to their eventual gestalt approach making sense, but overall I agree with you.
This is like the first combiner for all 3 companies. We are the beta customers. First lesson in life: if possible, don't ever sign up as beta customers.
DX9 has great products like their take on Richthofen and Invisible, but I'm gonna say that Fans Toys are better. They give toy optional look and apart from figures like Hoodlum, their figures are usually awesome! The DX9 Atilla's arms looks horrendous! Individual bots look great but, so does Fans Toys' bots, so I'm confused on which one is better. Ultimately I'm gonna say Fans Toys.
"Great"as in a collective term. There are tons of other figures that are way better. But come on, you can't stand for that hollow arms and hollow back.
Good point, but I tend to aggregate track record into a "confidence rating" that helps me decide who probably has the best handle on what's to come. With FT it's even better because they've released their MM first. This doesn't really tell us much about the eventual gestalt approach, but it does give us a peek into the quality they'll likely put into it and how well the overall effort will be put together. The same also holds true with XTB as every bot thus far has been a treat. None of this means much as we know so little about either gestalt, but it's a best guess gut reaction and it's better than either blind faith or walking away because of doubt.
haha I knoooow, but... invisible?!? How about Carry... let's go with Carry. I don't know that the hollow arms will really be a problem once it's all put together. Hollow back depends a lot on the paint/coloring... it definitely has the potential to be bad, but I also don't care that much what it looks like from the back as long as he's stable and sturdy.
I think Fanstoys will be sold out. XTB and DX9 will fight for scraps. The XTB guys don't want to hear it, but the limb bots are still widely available everywhere. One or two stores might have run out of one, but overall they can still be got easily. FansToys MotorMaster is already sold out at a number of places with the second batch coming soon. If those limb bots can't sell out for 50 to 60 bucks, well .....
I don't see why not. We've got like what, 5 different 3P MP Springers? The market is big enough. Yep. The FT versions of anything will be top priority for most folks. See how quickly most places sold out of the first batch of Roadking from sellers worldwide. The next released FT Stunticon limb will sell like hotcakes.
Just a theory, it is really hard to confirm that. Right, but combined form from Xtb is also the cheapest option.
