I’m 100% sure this a BPGV leg substitute. The square mushroom peg has the same trapezoidal top as the BP’s as can be seen in some of the other pics. Whether it’s joinable with the BP’s legs in “trailer” mode remains to be seen, though. The double pegs at the end might be a fit by design, but I’m wondering if the wheel assembly might make it too tall to link up.

Either way I’m extremely excited by MFT making legitimately compatible, modular designs to the diaclone reboot collection. It’s a brave new world!

 

So my DA-22s have passed by the last regional hub for USPS and should be in my hands tomorrow. Will have to grab a few pics and let you guys know how they feel. Don't have the original Takara ones to compare against but at least I have a bunch of other MFT ones so I can at least see if they differ from those meaningfully.

 

Well, as promised. One of my DA-22s arrived. Despite me ordering two. So now I get to bitch at an aliexpress seller, I guess. DA-20 included for scale, just incase anyone needed help comparing Advanced suit and normal suit sizes.

Quality seems the same as the rest of the MFT stuff. Nothing too loose, nothing too tight, nothing warped or weird. Detail seems nice, they even painted in a little pair of headlights. Was delighted to find there is enough room in the torso for a pilot to lay down on their belly, propped up on their elbows to look forward. Now to wait for the DA-25Bs and second DA-22, I guess.

Oh, and the Omega Supreme armor and Weirdwolf + bonus powerloader armor have started showing up on eBay.

Score. Got the powerloader suit from Weirdwolf by itself via hzj, and the DA-20 from the red and black Omega Supreme, and a Babby Supreme without the bonus stuff I have no use for from the same source. Now to maybe get a blue Babby Supreme, and I'm golden until the Starcraft suits are out, I guess. And the inevitable Gamma and Delta runs that I'll end up with several of. And once they do Raptor Heads. And the new Epsilon armor and that new Waruder suit. The battle is never-ending. These things are stronger plastic crack than just about anything else I've collected.

It was what instantly came to mind when I saw them. My only regret is getting just Babby Supreme by itself means I don't get the box with its adorable as all hell art.

 

How is babby transformed?

 

Pretty easily, judging by the pictures of the "altmodes" for it.

 

It's like yoga but you cut your arms off.

 

It's adorable, and fairly creative admittedly given what they have to work with. But the altmode(s) is definitely not why I'm interested in getting these.

The tank in insert into a suitable orafice mode - is quite well shaped to make a gun turret attached to the base.

Though I like the idea you can have a tank each side of the full sized one's base mode - for better arc of fire coverage.

 

Got my DA-25Bs in. And had also ordered a 1/100 scale diecast Grand Slam sword from Gundam SEED on a whim, which arrived just yesterday. Not having much luck on figuring out a use for it, I thought I'd give this a try and it is kind of hilarious, and surprisingly stable once posed to properly brace the absurd amount of weight it's holding up to one side.
