I would never have expected Cyclonus from Silverbolt...or Dai Atlas from Overlord...but those are things. You never know what Hasbro or Takara might have up their collective sleeves...

I would be all-in mainly for the likely Reprolabels conversion labels to make his alt mode the USS. Flagg from "G.I. Joe" (they made one for the TR version).

true, but neither of those were $80 (for a single figure) or apparently 1 figure per line for the size class like jetfire appears to be. so far he has more in common with titans release wise than he does with voyagers or leaders

also dia atlas was an exclusive packed in with two other remolds, the situation is a bit different

This gets to something I've acknowledged a few times before. Yes, it's true that Hasbro (or Takara, in the case of one of your examples) breaks its established patterns from time to time.

    Totally unpredictable things HAVE happened.

I still think it's absolutely fair to say "people probably shouldn't count on (x) happening, because the existing pattern doesn't really allow for (x)." Wild speculation that ignores the existing patterns really isn't conducive to productive discussion. It's just wild speculation.

I also agree, Commander class could be great for special teams that HasTak might be hesitant to release individually.

At the same time, isn't this the place to have said wild speculation? I'd say the odds are slim...but the term "dark horse" exists for a reason.

Yeah he should be like omega supreme/devastator height. So smaller. I don’t think he should have a whal alt mode though. It’d just go wrong and I’d prefer a normal tidalwave.

If one insists that a place for wild speculation must exist... why not here? But frankly, I don't see the need. It tends to come off as "anything's possible!" which, again, is probably technically true, but obscures the reasons the original comment suggested otherwise, which were almost always valid reasons.

There's also Micromaster Countdown or whatever you want to call the shuttle base thing he came with. Iwould love to see that turned into a transformers (and Joe Defiant homage).

Watched it, and didn't really quite share his enthusiasm for it.

This new upcoming Skyfire is nice and big, but a little bit unimpressed of it now than before.

A little worried that gravity and stuff will not be kind with it in jet-mode...

Leader class could work too, the voyager is just way too small and skinny.

Or re-release it. I have Countdown so for me, I really want a Raiden if we're going to that era of TFsland.

The Defiant was awesome. I'd love TFs of the DEfiant, the Joe Mobile Command Center, the Rolling Thunder and the Phantom x-19. That last was rekindled when Milne snuck a couple into the big fight on earth in the IDW Unicron series.

    That’s not Roadbuster. This is.

And definitely doesn’t need to be larger than siege voyager or leader.

I mean, technically that’s not roadbuster either is it?

While I agree that roadbuster doesn’t really need to be larger than voyager or leader, the idw version is still an entirely valid interpretation of the character

Well, I'd say his altmode should dictate his size class - and that armored humvee should definetely be smaller than Jetfire's jetmode.

Guys, I think Hasbro is staying away from IDW interpretations....call it a hunch. Marvel and G1 look to be fair game though.

It’s clearly just a cool way to state preferences. “You call that a roadbuster? Hah!”

    You get it?
