What's more reliable, the assortment SKU or the individual ones?

Assortment, always. Individual is for internal use, only. The problem is, much like the case of Leaders in WFC, they accidentally swapped Ultra Magnus's code with the assortment one. So, if one doesn't work, try the other until you get results. Whichever one gives you actual results is the one you should use. Ultimately, though, regardless of the name attached to it, the assortment code is the one that actually works.

No, but it looks like a reset is coming soon and Soundwave has placeholder listing on Walmart.com.

So possibly by the end of the month?

Here's to hoping next assortment with Soundwave in June. Any Walmart peeps about that might be able to shed light on if it happens to be part of the next mod refresh?

Color is just a matter of transformation matrix formatting...no need to be hung up on color. What matters is Rumble was smarter than Frenzy ever could be ;P

That bar is so low, it fell to the floor and rolled to the corner.

So what is the argument that rumble is red? Just because of the toy (which came from the cartoon)? I always remember rumble as blue in cartoon.
Facts please not opinions. Not looking for a big rehash just the main points of fact.

And Hasbro themselves keep flopping one as the other depending on their mood between toy lines. For me the cartoon wins and Rumble is blue, but I understand the debate.

they really should just use the MP tapes instead and put them in this packaging. Same size and sooooo much better.

Kind of defeats the purpose of a reissue

Think the cartoon was first (was definitely what made them big) so would personally go with that. If they come out with a new comic and make him pink with purple polkadots he will still be blue to me.
But to those who want to say he is red, won’t argue. Doesn’t really matter, I was just curious how the argument came up since I had always known him as blue.

All came out in 1984 but looks like the comics made it out a few days sooner.

The first U.S Marvel Comic was first published May 8th, 1984 and had a cover date of September 1st, 1984.

The Transformers (issue) - Transformers Wiki

The Cartoon first aired September 17th, 1984.

More than Meets the Eye, Part 1 - Transformers Wiki

The Toy line would have been out well before both of them by a month or 2 (or even more) I believe.
