    i'm not sure but:

i think online for both is per system way (360 does it Live way while Wii does it Friends/Random way)

Wii uses the Wii remote for its juice, and uses the Wii remote for sound (mostly when you screw a beat) and vibration (during star power)....not sure if the 360 one has vibration but it uses batteries for its juice.

Oh god, ridiculous... the game is about the gameplay and the music I hardly notice the in-game advertising and you should be too busy rockin out to notice anyway if they have to plug Axe and Pontiac to bring me master tracks instead of a cover band im all for it.. The game is amazing just as fun as GH2 the wireless les paul is a welcome addition to my 360 and with Through the Fire and the Flames, and One... man i started playing yesterday at 12pm and didnt stop till well after 1am given that the guitar runs on 2 AA batteries im mighty impressed with its battery life.

I grabbed mine at Toys R Us returning my copy of PGR4 I got buring the buy two get one free sale. I ended up getting the one with the guitar even though I have two of the X-plorers already and they had many copies of the game by itself for 360 and PS2.

Didn't get a chance to play much since I had company over but overall it seems like a step up but not by a whole lot. The multiplayer battles were kind of cool but the matches usually ended pretty quickly when I played.

Activision has a battery pack and charging combo for 360/Ps3 on their website for $20 (on sale normally $25), its just two joined AAs and a usb charging cradle. I'd spring for an actual rechargeable battery system, you can get a small wall charger and usually four batteries for around or just over $20.

Also, Also, the double Guitar pack is a Target exclusive and is why the guitars are red.

I was planning on getting the 360 bundle, but then I heard that the guitars are flaky.

So I am debating just picking up the game by itself, but it's sad because I really like the look of the new guitars.

To continue on my post above, if anyone here can beat One on Expert, you should enter yourself in all the Guitar Hero competitions you can.

The song is IMPOSSIBLE to beat on Hard for me. :banghead:

    What system are you on?

And for all those failing songs off the bat, Activision made the game a bit more challenging. GH III's Hard is GH II's Expert. Save for Jordan. THAT is GH III's Expert.

Can anyone help me get through the end of Through the Fire and Flames on Expert? I get to 86-90%, and then I just drop.

One thing I did notice on my PS3...It seems like something is not quite sync'd up. Like the wireless controller takes longer for the signal to get the the ps3 then it did in GH2 with a wired controller on the PS2. It has taken some getting used to.

I've noticed that too. I'm not the greatest guitarist around, but I'm pretty confident in my rythm, and I know I'm hitting some of those notes it keeps telling me I'm missing.

And I agree that expert is challenging. I got stuck in an online game playing against someone doing pride and joy on expert and got my ass handed to me. Man, I know the song is difficult on a real guitar, but some of their "note" choices are fricken' insane, and don't make sense to me.
