For those of you with teh alt mode gaps, are you folding up the inner toes as well as the outer toes? I just watched Emgo's review of this, and he left the inside toes in robot mode position and got the alt mode together securely with no gaps.

 

Yeah mine are totally folded up. It seems to be an allignment issue with the bed cover, the tailgate and the rear bumper. If I leave the bumper un-pegged, the bed lines up, if I peg the bumper in, I get the gap.

 

Maybe there’s a peg you can shave down or something?

 

The inner toes don't fold, only the outer ones and heel ones. Unless you mean those black triangle "toes", those fold too.

I noticed that the feet are difficult to slide on all the way when installing, it looked like they were pushed all the way on but they weren't, and that threw everything out of alignment. Once I got the feet slid all the way onto the post and screwed down tight as possible everything fit.

 

The toes with the silver end bits. I'm afraid that's the best I can describe, without just showing the emgo vid. But if it's just an alignment issue with them not being on properly, hopefully it's that. Stuff like this can be easy to not quite get on fully if it's a tight fit.

 

Only the outer silver toes fold in. The inner silver ones can't, they have to stick out in truck mode (I wish they did fold in). I'm guessing they did that so he can't fall flat on his face if all his toes buckle.

 

Ah, that explains that. It looked like they both moved but i must have been mistaken.

 

That's a possibility. Mine were a pain to put on, maybe one isn't far enough. I'll have to check them again.

Got mine from TFDirect and was only a few days from order to delivery. Its a real nice set just a little pricey. 65 dollar SS Ironhide but it looks sharp.

 

So can someone show me the ankle tilt? I need to know if this is a real ankle, or just toe manipulation​

 

Does his feet stay flat on the ground when moving his legs out wider? I'm worried about those wheels hindering the ankle tilt

 

The tilt is legit. They wheels don’t get in the way although the toes don’t stay flush with the floor. I changed mine back to the original feet because in truck mode, the tailgate section, with the Autobot symbol, would not stay connected and that really bugged me.
