Universe Galvatron - I loved the look but he was a trainwreck. Bits falling off every which way. Also Power Core Combiners Double Clutch.

Jolt was a fun one to convert. Figuring out what to do with the legs was always a challenge

ROTF Human Alliance Sideswipe: came up side down in his box when it arrived, very weak armjoints so he could not hold his arms up, broken panel on the inside of his foot/wheel, legs just collapsed out of the blue and was very unstable.
Got a refund though, sold it cheap and bought a HFTD Stealth Sideswipe instead.
This one is better but also has weak armjoints....

Maybe they are ko´s, I don´t know to be honest:oops:

I don’t hate MP Magnus, but yes I very very much dislike him for pretty much the same reasons.

Prior to yesterday I would probably have said something like Prime Airachnid, but then I was introduced to the Botbot Venus Frogtrap. The plant mode is actually pretty good and she's a decent enough little toy if you think of her as a non-transforming plant toy, but as a transformer she's just the worst shit ever. The back legs are so poorly designed (the toes come pressed hard up against the thing they're supposed to move out past) that they're genuinely impossible to transform unless you've got just the right pry tool, and even with that tool they require ridiculously excessive amounts of force to get out, and probably just as much to get back in again. Not that I would know, I never actually managed to get them out. I only had a nailfile which was too big, couldn't get under the leg and created an unsightly white line when it slipped out of place and shaved a chunk of plastic off the foot. If how much I hate her now is anything to go by it's worth pointing out that I got one with front legs that actually stay on, so it frightens me to think that most examples of her are even worse.

I'm just glad I got her in the 8 pack where I had 7 other figures to ease the pain, I couldn't imagine anything worse than pulling her out of a blind bag (she's number 14 in Series 1, avoid it like the plague) and realising you'd actually paid money for her. At least with the 8 pack I can pretend I paid for the other 7 and she just came free in the box.

On a less vitriolic note I must agree with some of the thoughts on the Siege Race Car Patrol. Although I don't hate them the issues mentioned earlier in the thread are all present, the worst offender being that you have to warp Swindler's arms out of shape to get the hood up or down because there's just no clearance due to his arms not being able to move out of the way. Honestly the Micromaster version of Swindler is probably a better toy, purely because its transformation actually works without you having to risk damage the toy by warping plastic. Roadhandler's hood has similar clearance issues when having to fold it over. Those two are far from worst list material, but they are legitimate complaints.

All things considered, the worst TF I ever owned was probably...

    Cybertron Leo Breaker

It failed in robot mode, it failed in alt mode, it failed at representing the character, it failed BADLY as an add-on.
The worst crap to come out of Beast Machines at least had some personality, but Leo Breaker is just the worst piece of shit I even had on a shelf.

I totally agree with you. I hated that piece of shit. His arms are beyond atrocious, and his "arm" mode just looks like a giant, swollen tumor. I can't believe it got reused THREE times.

Yeah, I liked that figure better than the RotF version aside from the dull colors. Once I got the hang of his transformation he was a blast!

I think Leobreaker is only such a turd because he was part of a line that had ALOT of standout superb figures. Plus it's pretty clear to me that his savage claw mode was a victim of budget cuts

He's not that bad, you're basically right. The real turd of the line was Backstop, though even that one is charming in a sort of "you tried something new" way. Taking it as a whole, Cybertron / Galaxy Force is my favorite line of Transformers. I've loved a lot of CHUG but it's always been a case of "is this actually better, or just new?" whereas Cybertron was its own thing so none of them are really replaceable. Siege is pretty good but I'm just too far in on my CHUG collection to scrap it and start all over, so it's just more character filling / strictly superior replacements for me.

POTP Jazz, but... I've warmed up on him. But he still has problems.
    • He feels cheap
    • Panel lines in alt mode
    • He has little color besides white
    • He's hallow
    • The headsculpt isn't good.
    • Doorhands
He came out in a horrible period where the figures were cheaply made, and forced into the combiner gimmick. Luckily he's a unique mold that doesn't use the Breakdown mold.
You're better off buying RTS Jazz.

He disappointed me. Jazz was one of my first figures and he was my favorite character. Bad first impression.

Should I buy the Elita-1 mold of the Starscream figure? Is it atleast an approvement?

I do have Elita-1, but I haven't even opened her because Starscream was so disappointing. That and I live in New Zealand where Novastar doesn't exist and most likely neither will Greenlight, so I'm not likely to end up able to form a decent Elita-Inf1nite even if her torso mode was better than Starscream's (I'm not sure either way). From the couple of reviews I've read of her she's is said to be a genuine improvement, though I can't say how much.

She's aite... if you're into an Autobot female combiner, she's a must.

If you're just after her alone as a stand-alone figure, sure..

But after the weigh-in, the original torso bot configuration is just lacking... she could have been better.

And that's coming from a guy with 8x wreck-gar limbs that, over time, forget how to stay pegged together.

    FoC Fruticus.

Was soooo excited for this guy. Bought and held it until Christmas. Opened on Christmas Day, one tf per figure and back into the box and returned it went. I can find a redeeming attribute in almost any figure but these were pure shit. Cheap, hollow, and honestly junk to hold.

The FoC line for me is literally THE low point of modern TFs in my humble opinion. People who bitch about anything after that line haven’t held these figures.

Bruticus has its problems, but FoC had some excellent figures, including OP/UM and Shockwave. Soundwave got a full set of minions, and so did Blaster. Seekers were well represented, and Air Raid was a great surprise. Personally I also liked Jazz/Sideswipe, but for most people that would be taking things too far.

I’ve heard the seeker mold was ok, but Shockwave’s mold was cheap, small, boring and really not much like Shocks in my opinion.

As to Blaster and Soundwave, they were basically upscaled WFC figures so they could store those shit data discs.

Not every figure in a bad line is crap just like not every figure in a great line is awesome but FoC was a very crappy line. IMHO.

Foc came along at a VERY bad time of cost cutting. Despite this, we got a bruticus where all 4 limbs were integrated without extra pieces. Did it look like spindly shit? Hell yeah. Its biggest crime was making onslaught a deluxe as well. I will say though, xtransbots made that atrocity into a nice beefy looking bruticus. But if it hadn't been a somewhat success, we wouldnt have gotten combiner wars.

I think it's safe to say there's plenty of figures to bitch about AFTER holding/owning FOC Bruiticus. But yeah, mine is sitting in a box right next to a number of other WFC/FOC space wasters just waiting for me to ebay the pile for pennies. ESPECIALLY YOU BUMBLEBEE you pear shaped stupid foot weirdo.
