Central Command FB page. I wonder if it has the Decepticon logos on the wings? That would be tight! Mod edit: Pics from the official US Air Force Website 190508-F-QS178-1034 190508-F-QS178-1016 190508-F-QS178-1038 From US Air Forces
Very cool. Also nice to see how close the mp planes looks to the real thing comparing with these pictures, especially the older mp3 mold: Should have replaced the nulrais for those real life rockets to make it even more realistic
I hope the eventual new seeker mould will be accurate to the real thing and not like the 3P one which is based on the G1 cartoon.
Having been in the Air Force myself, I can say having the Decepticon logos on the wings will be highly unlikely. I'm sure certain regulations would prevent that. Hah, well the MP-03 mold has always been known to mirror the F-15E while MP-11 mirrors the F-15C. My only wish was to get a Ghost Starscream from the MP-11 mold. Sadly, that looks like it will never happen unless someone else does it.
More info from one of the best ‘politically agnostic’ defense websites out there: Fully Armed F-15Cs Have Arrived In The Middle East Amid Accusations Of Iranian Threats (Updated) I posted one of these pics in the MP speculation thread yesterday . Looks like his buddy Deadpool is there too.
Eagles move as part of dynamic force deployment > U.S. Air Forces Central Command > News Lakenheath is now officially the coolest of all F-15 bases. PS---while appearing fairly dark, this is an F-15C in the "Mod Eagle" camo, not an F-15E in gunship grey. ::edit:: The wheel hubs have the insignia, too: PPS----Since these are official govt websites, I presume it's OK to hotlink to the pics, since our taxes are paying for the hosting services?
Actually...we're not supposed to be hotlinking pics from other websites if I remember correctly. But if you want to put them on tinypic or save them to your desktop and attach them, that should be fine Just to err on the side of caution, could you un-hotlink them and attach or host them from like photobucket or imgur or something?
Well, it'd have to have the 'con insignias in addition to, not in place of, the normal ones on the wings, as it's intl law to have the proper ones on the wings. (But that rule is violated all the time, especially by the US, so...) ::edit:: Next-most-recent pics I can find of this plane are from Jan 28, and it had no special markings then. Trying to pinpoint exactly when it was painted (wouldn't be surprised if it was upon deployment, just days ago)
