I like the gold on the new release, but the tattoos are just too distracting.

Technially, according to scale, Starscream (31 feet - according to the ROTF DVD) is a foot taller than TLK Megatron (30 feet).

Can someone tell me how long Starscream's alt-mode is in inches? I'm trying to figure out what scale he is.

He is exactly the same lenght as rotf voyager statscream which is 8 inches from tip of the nose to the tip of the middle piece in between thw thrusters, or 9 inch including the back horizontal stabilizers

I don't have my figures to hand right now (I'm in my office) but I recall that they're more or less in scale with one another in jet mode. The F-22 is large.

19 metres long Raptor v 14 metres long Harrier.
