The left foot plugs in without problems, the right not. It seems the peg is to thick to fit into the slot. Thought the joints are correctly folded because the left foot plugs in fine...

I got mine in today. The arms are kind of loose though. The ball jointed arms, the bicep swivels, and the wrists swivels sometimes flop under a certain weight. Mostly with some of the heavier weapons. And the panel on his right arm is loose too. Often sliding back and flopping out. Gonna fix those the arm joints with some floor polish and see if it'll work. Not sure if will also work on the panel joints though.

Had mine for about a week now. Here's some issues I've noticed:

    1. The side panels on his legs refuse to plug into the cylinders on his hips in alt-mode; not sure why, no amount of finagling will get them to line up
    2. On the figure's right side, the back of the shoulder has a hole to let a tab in the back in for alt-mode; very hard to push in, damaged back of the shoulder just a tiny bit forcing it in.
    3. Left arm's ball joint is pretty loose, can't hold it up in certain positions
    4. Flaps on arms that form the side windows in alt-mode are a little hard to tab in and out

I'll probably never transform him into alt-mode again. I think the metallic is a paint, so I think the thin coat makes it more difficult for things to tab in properly.

The metallic paint is pretty nice though, and still matches well with the red on Skywing, but I guess it might depend on your lighting. The back flaps on the legs don't fold in as closely as with my Delta Manus or KO Striker Noir but it's not a big deal.

Overall, pretty happy with him, especially since I never had the original. Hope they put out Rioter Despotron with a metallic finish.

It's arriving soon over here. Hoping they'll do Megatron in metallic too.

Yeah, it's hard to tell for sure but I also think that at least the red is a metallic paint. I owned and transformed the original a few times so I haven't attempted it with the premium version yet but I'm really happy with the way he looks in hand. It is a very nice looking Optimus Prime and welcome addition to my voyager Prime collection.

So general consensus here is there's mold fatigue and he's not quite up to scratch? Been hovering over getting him.

Not sure. I have yet to start transforming mine yet to see if there's any issues. Loose ball joints can usually be fixed with floor polish which is what I did.

Maketoys QC is no longer up to snuff i.e. it's all over the place. Delta Magnus was very well QC ed, but then you have this. Similar with their seekers. A friend of mine received a TFCon MT Screamer with a misassembled waist. As a result he is currently unable to transform the figure to robot mode.

I have zero issues with mine. Everything tabs in properly when transforming and all joints are as tight as I remember the original being before I had to sell it off last year.

I just got mine off ebay, not transformed and won't attempt to. The arms are a bit loose, no problems with the feet that i can tell so far (will check later) the arm flap on the left wont stay in place, it slides around everytime i move the figure. Also, the hands are very loose, not sure if that's a problem with the wrist or not but they definitely have a hard time staying in place when trying to pose him. All problems seem easily fixed to me. The paint looks incredible and I'm very happy with the weapon pack. Looking forward to Galvatron.

Well damn I think I scrapped some silver paint of his grill when I was transforming it. Not sure how to be honest given there is enough of a gap to get the waist crunch. Though I will admit it does make it look like he has a belly button. Not sure if anyone knows what type of paint or marker I could use to fix this.

Edit: Fixed it with an oil based sharpie.

I've got mine, like others there are a few loose bits but that's okay (I had the foot tab issue but after i forced it once it didn't happen again), I have one thing I do think we need though.
Maketoys (or a different 3rd party, i know someone made a CW adapter for him, they could do something we'd actually want). Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, give us a cross dimension Combat Deck.
Firstly the weapons pack, while awesome, there's no where to put most of them when you aren't using them, particularly in alt mode. Secondly there is a part to attach a trailer hitch, of you look between his legs there is a slot on either side an adapter could attach to him for a trailer to plug in. And thirdly, let's be honest a second, we all know no Optimus is truly complete until he gets a trailer. Make it happen!

I understand the wishes for a trailer of some kind but maaaan, can we please all get together and convince Maketoys to get working* on some more serious stuff?

    We need a Cross Dimension:

    Shockwave
    Overlord
    Victory Saber
    Big Powered
    Star Convoy & co

or maybe something crazy like G1 Thunderwing. I am actually worried - with the lukewarm reception of the last two - that, if they don’t tease something big soon, they seriously risk losing a signicifant amount of potiential customers. It’s not unsimilar to how it went with FP’s Warbot line (I mean, how many were still there by the time Trianix came out?).

    *
assuming they’re not working on anyone from their comics.

I'm wishing for a Cross Dimensions Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Their Classics figures sucked and we haven't gotten a good CHUG representation period.

I would like to see some more villains in the cross dimensions line. Ones that aren't just repaints. Heck I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about their Galactatron
Those are some pretty cool suggestions. I'd be very interested in Shockwave, Overlord, and Victory Saber (Mostly Star Saber, could care less about Victory Leo). Honestly I just want some more more villains in the Cross Dimensions line. I'm surprised we haven't heard more about their Rioter Galcatron.

By last two are you referring to brand new figures like Divine Shooter and Buster Stealthwing? Or just actual last two releases being Striker Manus Premium and Skywing? I can understand not many people like me really wanting Divine Shooter is they were fine with Thunder Manus' divine armor, but did people not really like Buster Stealthwing?

Partly mold fatigue (arm swivel for example), and some part is a coat of paint on top of an old mold probably. Considering how popular this mold is I'm not surprised at all that it's worn.

Yeah but that does explain why the TFCon Exclusive (also released this year) was very well QCed. Very minimal if any report on looseness, etc.

My Delta Manus was rock solid. My guess is that the problems are mostly the figure not being designed to have a layer of paint on top of the plastic and that subsequently throwing off a lot of pegs and ports.

If you mean it does NOT explain: they might've taken mold out to do a run of Delta and Metallic, and did Delta before repaint. They were released almost at the same time, it is possible.

Yeah, but arm swivel has no paint and is pretty loose, and (strangest of all) his thigh slider has no click at all. Second one is weird, I didn't take his legs apart still because I can't see how it is supposed to be taken apart, so I can't tell why it doesn't click at all. But it feels like there is nothing there, while Noir has that audible click when you use that slider.

I'm not raving that figure is bad, I quite like it and have no regrets. But it did loose some tightness in places where paint shouldn't be an issue, either to mold degrading or MT changing molds for parts where it doesn't make sense.
