Fair. I just think you could make some way cooler poses and fight animations.

I'm all for it. I don't care which line they come from xD

I've been going to the arcade lately after what's been like 20yrs, lol. And yea., I think a game like this would stick out and be a hit. Especially if it plays simple and efficient.

But yea, I've been digging Mariokart GP DX. Haha that's an addicting game.

Well sorry to dissapoint you, but I never heard of you bro. But from one g1wunner to another, watch your DVD collection more often more bro. "Errors" in scale as you call them, became staple for the cartoon throughout its entirety. Almost to the point where scale was extremely debatable. Seekers being the same height as Autobots was so commonplace because in the battle scenes it just made more sense. This carried on in season 3 with cyclonus and scourge who were rarely portrayed as huge when they needed to interact with Autobots face to face. Mass shifting always wins. I will give it to you, there were a handful of times that the seekers were much taller because their jet modes were being emphasised. (As stupid as it looked) But as seasons 1-2 dragged on, you saw less and less of this by the time the coneheads arrived. It just looked better. So shaming me for wanting to complete the Botcon set in proper fashion, is kinda sad man. I bet you dont even have the set, but you wanna see it get ruined for those who have it and want to complete it. I never doubted that the new redwing will indeed be the crappy voyager seeker mold, but I can always hope. I dont think anybody who didnt care about completing the set gives 2 craps about this one scene character. So my gut is telling me that enough fans did to warrent Hasbro bringing back the classics seeker mold again because we always bought it time and time again. This is selects after all, not the regular seige line. As we stand now, selects has 2 POTP molds that were made just to satisfy fans lust for the obscure. So its not completely out of the realm of possibility either. Hasbro did give us a Quake repaint specifically to go with the TFCC Spinister and Needlenose figures to complete the set. That was a respectable move by Hasbro.

Nobody cares about how insanely "accurate" they are in "scale"
sunbow_scale_preview.jpg but they are so in scale with the g1 cartoon

You don't need to have heard of me. I haven't been posting much over the past 8 years. But since you were already pointing to the user profile on my posts, you can clearly see how long I've been here and my post count. Also, it would be sort of silly to assume that anyone on this forum is falsely claiming to be familiar with G1.

Dude, we all know that the scale on the cartoon was famously inconsistent. That's not under debate.

However, there are some factors to keep in mind here.

    1.
The majority of the time, consistently across all G1 media, the Seekers are depicted as being at least a head taller than ordinary car bots. This isn't a misconception, or a myth, or an error, or an incongruity. This is the STANDARD DEPICTION that almost everybody in the fandom agrees with.

    2.
Some errors are more frequent than others. Cyclonus is rarely drawn to his proper scale in Season 3. Rumble and Frenzy are always smaller than others, but still change sizes constantly. However, the general tendency for Seekers to be taller than car-bots is actually pretty consistent.

    3.
In the production process, animated shows use "series bibles" that include model sheets and style sheets that specify things like the relative size between characters. They do this to enforce consistency (as much as possible) across different animators and studios who might be contracted to do individual episodes. This is the official standard for the show, based on how the people in charge decided it should be. So, when you see something that contradicts the style sheet, that is literally, definitively an error.

    4.
This has nothing to do with mass-shifting. A 63ft fighter jet robot would be a lot more than a head taller than a 10ft car robot. The sizes assigned to the G1 characters may be influenced or inspired by their vehicle modes, but obviously mass-shifting is still a factor in how they scale in bot mode.

The truth is that the sizes of those characters are probably MOST influenced by the toys. Why else would Soundwave be so big and Huffer be rather small? The sizes assigned to the cartoon TFs are a loose reflection of how big most of the toys were next to each other, at least in the first couple of years.

    5.
The size charts that get shared around are not always exactly the original. For example, the one posted just above is a composite of several of the size charts, with new lines added to it to compare with the recent size classes (which didn't exist in the 80s obviously).

However, the size chart that these are based on isn't a recent creation by Takara. There was an original used by Sunbow, and those photocopies have been circulating for a long time.

We KNOW from watching the show how big characters were supposed to be next to each other, but the size charts confirmed it officially. I don't agree with all the creative decisions they made for the cartoon (Purple Rumble, for example) but that doesn't make those things not canonical.

Also a very fair point! In any case I'd find this to be an interesting game and the two lesser powered vs one higher powered would make for a more interesting game play dynamic than the usual one on one fighting games.

If the scale is so inconsistent (which is true) it really makes you look bad insisting seekers MUST be big as hell and nobody prefers the classics seeker mold which probally sold over a million copies not counting KOs.

Okay.....did Megatron get to lay a single hand on Prime in that "fight"???

So far the Starscream vs Prowl and Sideswipe fight was the best. Skytread vs Cog and Hound is 2nd.
