Ive seen that one, only thing is that the blade is backwards. Using the finger protector as a guide, the blade faces the wrong way, the longer and thicker blade should be on the same side as the hand guard. I was asking here also to make it multiline compatible with the standard hand grip size, the Dr Wu one doesnt quite fit in other TF hands but the Prime stuff. Thanks all the same though!

I had no idea Dr. Wu made those. Well now I know! And yeah, I actually think it is a really silly design for a sword, but yes indeed the Star Saber is designed "backwards" like that.
    [IMG][IMG]

Also on top of those Dr. Wu ones, in my search for reference materials, I came across this one over on Thingiverse:
Star Saber Redone to use less space. by BryanPrime917
and I also remembered this one made by Shapeways user "Lorddragonmaster" , which I even bought myself for my TFP FE Voyager Optimus Prime a few years back, but I forgot about it:
TFP - Celestial Sword by lorddragonmaster on Shapeways

so with all that being said, I feel I don't need to be making my own version. For the TFP Star Saber - plenty of options already exist!

    Quick small update today!

Made at the request of Shapeways user "mdowns", same person who requested my Shockwave Feet Extenders, POTP Hot Rod now gets some new boots of his own!

These boots extend the smaller Hot Rod portion of the figure to stand at about 7 inches tall, and also give him three 5mm ports on the bottom of the feet. Just to note, the boots can be left on for the "Armored Up" Rodimus Prime mode, giving him Magnus-like "Shoulder Pauldrons", however arm articulation does get reduced a bit. The boots have no function or storage in vehicle form.
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

These boots are now available here!

We now return our attention to Siege Ironhide once more for another update!

Once again thanks to Shapeways user "mdowns", we have the Siege Ironhide Earth Mode parts!
    [IMG][IMG]

These parts give Siege Ironhide a new front bumper based on the front of his vehicle mode as seen on Ironhide's Masterpiece toy, and gives his vehicle form a more proper rear-end, that features rear windshields, a spot for a license plate and vehicle model logo, taillights, and two "exhaust pipes" that feature 3mm pegs for Siege effect parts.
    [IMG][IMG]

In robot mode, the new rear parts become feet extenders by attaching them to the opposite feet, and the front bumper can just stay on for transformation, never needing to be removed if you don't want to. With these new parts, you can no longer attach Weaponizer deluxes to the bottoms of Ironhide's feet, however the rest of him is still Weaponizer compatible.

This item is now available in two forms, one is just the new front bumper and rear-end parts, and the second is as a kit with my previous "arm-shield" item also included, for those who want to fully "Earth-Mode" their Siege Ironhide figure. Links Below!

Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! I have a new item to display today!

So ever since the set name originally leaked, I had these designed, and when it was officially revealed, made some tweaks and now they're ready to go! Introducing - the Siege Slamdance Weapons!
    (The Slamdance re-deco for reference)

FlyWheels: These aren't my guns...but when has a Decepticon ever shied away from stealing!

Five blasters are included in this set, three based on the ones included with the original Grandslam tape, and two based on the ones included with the original Raindance tape. All of them use 5mm pegs, and the 5mm pegs on the two smallest blasters have hollow 3mm ports inside them so they can mount on Slamdance/FlyWheels'-Skytread's shoulders.
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

Lastly, as these are Siege Weapons, all of their barrels end in 3mm pegs, so Siege effect parts are fully compatible.

This item is now available here!
TF WFC Siege - Slamdance weapons by TheSledgeHammer on Shapeways
    [IMG]

That's all I've got for today, however as a little bonus, I posted these images over in the reveal thread for Siege Slamdance & G2 Sideswipe, Greenlight and Skywarp, but I'm gonna post these here too - its what Siege Slamdance's components would have looked like with the colors reversed, which gives Slamdance a more accurate robot mode, but at the sacrifice of completely inaccurate vehicle modes. Enjoy everybody!
    [IMG][IMG]

Oh and one last annoucement, Sometime in the near future, I'm going to start accepting Commissions. I'm currently still deciding what my commission prices are going to be, so when commissions are open I'll make another post specifically about it. Once I do open commissions, this does mean I won't be doing free requests as much, but don't worry, I won't stop doing them entirely, and If something you requested is already in my work pipeline, (such as those Siege Prowl parts that I said I'd start on once I have Siege Barricade in hand), it will still be completed as a free request. So stay tuned!

Hey guys, I was gonna post my new Slugfest kit for Titans Return Shuffler today, but due to a Shapeways error, I'm afraid this item is delayed. Whenever I try to upload the model, it keeps deleting half of one of his "spikes". I've had issues like this before in Tinkercad or when Slicing my models for test printing, but in the past slightly tweaking the model has fixed it. Well this is the first time I've had this error on Shapeways, so I'm not sure how to fix it :/
    Picture for reference:

I'm gonna keep trying different things though, and as soon as I can get it to upload to Shapeways correctly, I will post the model as planned. Until then, stay tuned!

Good news! Got it fixed! I honestly thought this was going to take longer than this to fix, so that's why I made my last post. The fix involved breaking that particular part down to its basics shapes and then re-grouping everything back together all at once. So without further delay, Here it is!
NOTE: Sections of the Titans Return Shuffler figure used in the following pictures have been digitally colored, as I did not want to paint my only Shuffler figure aside from the new parts. Someday though when I have more spare funds I will be purchasing a second Shuffler to apply these parts to permanently.

Introducing, the Titans Return Shuffler -to- Slugfest Kit!

Yay! Me Overkill get me buddy Slugfest back!!!

This kit is pretty self-explanatory, it replaces the head and front legs of Titans Return Shuffler, and adds Stegosaurus "spikes" on his back to make this figure better resemble the G1 Dino-Cassette Slugfest. All 3 modes are still functional, beast mode, "Tank" mode and weapon mode, although the tank mode looks a bit sillier with a dinosaur head sticking out on top versus the original elephant head that could at least pass for a "turret".
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

Figure can still be held in weapon mode, but do note the fit is much more loose now as the peg can't slide into hands as far with the Stegosaurus "Spikes" still attached. Looks great with both TR Leader Soundwave or the new Siege Voyager Soundwave!
    [IMG][IMG]

The Gang's all here! (Except Ratbat)

Siege version! (Also missing Ratbat and also Buzzsaw)

and a theoretical look at what the Titan Master included with this version possibly might have looked like

Hey all, been a little while, but have a new item on the table today!

Note: Just like my last item, Some sections of the figure in the following images have been digitally colored, as I did not wish to paint parts of my only copy of the base figure. The original images will be included at the bottom of the post for those that prefer to see them without digital coloring added.

So remember how Chop Shop just got randomly released all by himself in Combiner Wars Legends Class Wave 5? And then Titans Return finally gave us Kickback - but no other Insecticons? Especially since TR Legends Kickback's transformation made him perfect for a new head re-deco into Ransack? But that never happened either so far? Or how CW Bombshell to date has not been re-tooled/re-decoed into anyone so far? Well, today I intend to rectify one of those problems! I present, the Combiner Wars Bombshell to Barrage Kit!

This kit provides a new front and rear torso, new optional wings for bot mode only that peg on via 3mm pegs, a new head cover for his beetle form, and a new "horn" for beetle form as well. From the original Bombshell figure, you'll need to remove both of the 1.5mm pins for the arms, and the two 2mm pins holding his head pieces together, and you'll be re-using the entire original lower torso & legs, as well his entire arms, and all four of these metal pins. I originally had designed the new head as a separate piece that could rotate, however the plastic holding the beetle mode head cover in kept breaking anytime I would attempt to transform the figure, splitting his head in two. So unfortunately just like CW Bombshell's head, the head on these parts does not rotate. This issue along with the fact I have been also working on a second item simultaneously is why it took a month for this kit to be released.
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

Also included in the kit is 2 weapons based on the weapons originally included with G1 Deluxe Insecticon Barrage, which he can wield via 5mm pegs with no issues!
    [IMG][IMG]

In conclusion, a final shot of Barrage alongside Combiner Wars Chop Shop.

This item is now available here!
CW Bombshell to Barrage Kit by TheSledgeHammer on Shapeways
    [IMG]

On the note of turning Kickback into Ransack, I'm terrible at making heads/faces, I got lucky that Barrage's head design didn't have a mouth and used a lot of simple shapes for this kit, so I will not be tackling Ransack's head, especially with that mold's unique and tiny neck joint. That being said, if anybody wanted me to make Ransack's weapons, I'd be willing to do that much.

    With that, enjoy the kit!

Interesting idea, however as stated in my above post, I'm not good at making heads, so this request would be a better one for one of the other Shapeways designers here on the boards, apologies. On top of that, I personally feel Combiner Wars Mirage is both more toy accurate and animation accurate versus the new Siege one, so I have no plans to purchase Siege Mirage, however Siege Mirage's transformation scheme reminds me a lot more of Targetmaster Sureshot, and if that re-tool appears someday, I will probably pick-up that version instead.

    Hey all, TheSledgeHammer here!

I don't have a new item to demonstrate this time just yet, however I have a status update.

First off, I have a new job, thus my postings of new items are probably going to be less often from now on, but I'll try to stick to my more recent personal guidelines of 1-2 items per post when I do post new items.

Second, my personal 3D printer had some major issues in the last week of June till just a couple days ago, so I couldn't test print stuff I made until it finally got fixed.

And that brings us to now, so here's a list of what I'm working on/have worked on:

New outer thighs for the POTP/Siege Moonracer/Novastar/Greenlight/Lancer mold - finished and pictures taken, am currently drafting out how I want to go about posting these parts, as I've seen how some board users react to modifications of any kind to this region of the body on certain figures. I made these parts simply to make this mold better match the other fembots, and because the practically completely cylindrical stock thighs on this mold bothered me whenever I displayed these fembots with T30 Arcee, Legends Windblade/Slipstream, TR Nautica and POTP Elita-1, etc. So expect the post about these parts to appear soon.
New lower arms for the Generations RTS Grapple figure - requested by "mdowns" from Shapeways, who also provided a pair of spare arms for me to work with, as I don't own the mold, this will give Grapple interchangeable 5mm peg based hands and 2 different lasers, one based on the G1 toy missiles and 1 based on the "hand laser" seen in the G1 Cartoon/Masterpiece Grapple figure. Currently test printing the finished design. To note, the right handed version of this kit assumes you have an additional 3rd Party add-on to move his crane to his back instead of it being affixed to his right arm.
My goal is to have both this item and the above one done and posted by the end of July, but time will tell if I succeed.

Items coming later down the pipeline:
New parts for Siege Prowl mold: Requested by @NemesisJazz , Will begin designing and working on this as soon as I have Siege Barricade in hand.
New parts for Siege Starscream: I predict this one will be a bit expensive on Shapeways, as I am planning to give him a full Earth jet form. My current plan is to do 2 versions of this kit, Transforming and non-Transforming, Transforming version will be a full new jet shell to replace the "Tetrajet" portions of the mold, while the non-Transforming version will be just new Wings and "Shoulder Pauldrons" to replace the parts lost from removing the "Tetrajet" backpack. In all likely-hood, The non-Transforming version will probably get released first, and then the transforming version afterwards.
New Weapons for Titans Return Broadside: A few other Transformers 3D artists have made an Ax/Gun(s) for this figure already, but to me, none of them looked quite right, so I decided to take a swing at them. Although, if by the time I get around to making these Hasbro/Takara announces a Commander Class Broadside, and it includes at least his Ax, I will abandon this item.

and that's it for now, but here's 1 photo showing off the new thighs for the Moonracer mold in the meantime. Until next time! -TheSledgeHammer

(Lots of pictures so small images - will attach key pictures at end)

Well, it’s four days late, but here we go!

Gotta be honest, I was debating with myself for quite sometime if I was going to be releasing this item publicly, as like I said before, I’ve seen how some people react to modifications similar to this one, but as you are now reading, I decided to go ahead and post it.

So, you own the Power of the Primes Moonracer mold, or one of its three (questionably four) re-tools. Despite its backpack issues, you feel that it is a fairly solid figure, and looks great in most poses. Such as these:
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

But then one day, as you’re going about your business as usual, you catch a glimpse of this figure from a different angle, and it just…kind of bothers you.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

And then you figure out why. It’s because her thighs are basically just cylinders compared to fem-bots that have been released before this mold/close to the same time as this mold!
    Group shot for comparison:

While some may write this off as a nitpick, and that's fine, for me, it started as a nitpick and overtime I just couldn't stop thinking about it (see pacing gif above), and so, I made the parts. Now, the POTP Moonracer mold can better match its fellow fem-bots in arms! PREPARE FOR SURGERY! (The pair of hands you see in the following photos belong to my father - whose help I greatly appreciated in attaching these new parts!)

First, paint the new part in a color(s) of your choosing, and after the paint is dry, using a soldering iron, heat up the pin located in Moonracer's knee, for my figure(s), it took about 60 seconds (1 minute).

Second, quickly tap out the pin from her knee while it is still warm/hot.
    [IMG][IMG]

Third, Separate her thigh from the knee, and unscrew the thigh. Place the outer thigh piece off to the side, and prepare to attach the new thigh piece.

Fourth, re-assemble the thigh, and then line it back up and reattach it to the knee/lower leg. If the fit is too tight, shave down the new part a bit, and refit. Repeat as necessary until you feel the fit is just right. At this point prepare to re-install the pin.

Fifth, re-install the pin, and make sure the knee-bend still moves at a tightness you are comfortable with. If it is too tight, remove the pin again and use a drill-bit to loosen the pin-hole until the fit is just right.

and Finally, you are done! Moonracer (or one of her mold-mates) now has her new thighs!

With this upgrade, Moonracer is still fully capable of converting into all her different modes, Arm, Leg or Vehicle, and the vehicle still rolls just as well as it did before. I honestly think Arm mode gets the most benefit out of these, as now it looks like Elita-Infin1te/Orthia's arms have muscles!
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

and now, Moonracer looks better in most poses, from any angle you chose to display her from.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I know these won't be for everyone, but I hope at least some people like these and get some good use out of them. So here's two final pictures of Orthia with her new muscle arms!
    [IMG][IMG]

This item is now available here!

Don't have a lot of pictures for this entry, so small update this time but here we go!

Jumping back further in time than normal for today, today's new parts are for the Reveal the Shield Grapple figure. Made at the request of Shapeways user Mdowns, These new parts replace the inner forearms of the figure to give you options for new closed-fist 5mm hands, or one-of-two different lasers, one based on the laser from the Cartoon/Masterpiece figure, or the other based on the original "missiles" that came with the original G1 Grapple toy.

That's really it as this upgrade kit is pretty straight forward, but I have one last picture of the parts actually attached to the Grapple figure that is provided by Mdowns.

That's all for today, but I must also leave a note informing ya'll that at this point, due to my new job, at this current time I'm no longer accepting any further requests, and even though I said I was maybe going to open commissions soon a while back, I must now confirm also that I will not be opening up commissions for the foreseeable future, as I just no longer have the spare time to completely focus my efforts on 3D printing transformers parts. The items I recently posted that I said I was going to design I still plan to make, and on a positive note the Starscream upgrade kit that doesn't transform, as well as the Broadside weapons are almost ready to upload and post. So expect to see those in the near future. Peace until next time!

The new parts for Grapple are now available here!

Okay, so these took longer to post than I had planned, but work as well as a cousin's out-of-state wedding last month kept me busy, but here they finally are!

First up, Broadside's G1 Weapons. Sized for the Titans Return Voyager mold, this kit gives him his traditional G1 blaster and ax. The ax has two 5mm pegs on it, and the blaster features a single 5mm peg.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Following that, the Earth-based Seeker Backpack for Siege Starscream. Due note, with this attached, Starscream cannot transform. Installation is easy too, simply un-peg the Tetra-Jet backpack, and then peg this new one onto the tabs on Starscream's back, and make sure the grey panel behind Starscream's head also stays horizontal, as it also slides into a groove similarly to how it does on the stock Tetra-Jet backpack.
    [IMG][IMG]

A total of three 5mm ports are included, two on the underside of the wings just like the stock backpack, and a third one on the center of the new backpack so you can now better attach Weaponizer figures in whatever form you may desire, or just attach other 5mm compatible weapons. The new backpack also features a total of six 3mm pegs, four on the back, and two at the base of the "cylinders" just before the wings so you can attach Siege Blast Effect parts however you choose.

That's all the new stuff for today - but I also have a couple of announcements.
First off, due to the reveal of Earthrise Voyager Class Starscream, my planned kit for a transforming Earth form for Siege Starscream is canceled. The other reason this project is now canceled is just due to a lack of free time, as with my current job I just don't have the same amount of free time to commit to a design this complex anymore unfortunately.
Lastly, I must report another canceled item, @NemesisJazz 's request for new parts for the Siege Prowl mold. Part of it is due to the same reason above, lack of time, but for this one, after now having Siege Barricade in hand and getting to mess around with him for awhile, I've concluded there is simply no room on the mold for the requested parts. For the bumper portion, when sitting on a flat surface, this mold sits too low to the ground, so if I were to make the new bumper, and have it peg on to the tab that sticks out above Prowl's head, it would either touch the ground and prevent the figure from rolling, or it would have to be so thin that the constant pegging/un-pegging for transformation would eventually cause the part to break, and if its thin, the new part would likely not be accepted by Shapeways. On top of that, for the leg extensions portion of the request, When everything is folded up for vehicle mode, there is practically no space left inside where additional plastic/new different parts could fit. NemesisJazz mentioned cutting away a small section, but when I design parts, I design them with the idea in mind that the figure could be returned to its original state in the event the figure's owner someday changes their mind, so cutting/trimming parts of the figure is not something I'm willing to do.
    pictures for demonstrations:

With that being said, for those who are looking for upgrades for this mold, I do have the Prowl/Smokescreen Weapon sets already available in my shop, and here is what Barricade looks like with the Smokescreen set.

In conclusion, since I feel bad about the canceled projects, I have one last item I'm working on that I hope to release before the end of 2019, and its for the Siege Starscream mold, but with my current track record, we'll see if I actually meet my goal. Sorry if I disappointed anyone this time, and hope ya'll do enjoy the new stuff!
