The last one i've ordered was a scam.
Now i have to wait till one month has been passed and then file a dispute to return my money. ><

So what's the consensus on this guy? Aesthetically I'm seeing people pleased in general, but it seems to have as many issues as xtb or more...

Just curious and I am not contending your view, but what flaws are you talking about. I have a first run and I dare say that it is flawless and about the most beautiful figures (aesthetics and engineering) any 3rd party has released to date. And I don't even like Cyclonus. The only thing I had do do was use a diamond file and shave off about 1/4 mm on the square hole that locks the upper fuselage in place to get the alt mode to be completely flush. That's it. took about 2 minuets. The transformation is smooth and intuitive (for me at least. I didn't need instructions or to watch any videos), the paint is absolutely flawless, to construction is one of the most solid figures I own (and I have hundreds and a good portion are 3rd party) and the likeness in both modes is spot on. So, I just don't get it. I genuinely want to know what "flaws" you are referring to.

I have both, aesthetically it's up to the buyer how they want their cyclonus to look. I like them both in that regard but when it come to poseability and transformation I dont touch XTB, I have posed and transformed FT alot and never broke or stressed anything, I do have a little scratch on the underside of the chest form the knee. My XTB is stuck in A stance, maybe transformed 3 or 4 times, both transformation knee joints are blown out and the cock pit seat hinge destroyed its self just being locked/compressed in bot mode. Luckily I shaved down the cockpit tabs on XTB so I didn't snap those off. But this is just my experience, I wouldn't recommend xtb if you like to transform and pose you TFs. XTBs does look better next to Magnus to me, FTs makes Magnus look really wide.

I asked if there was any instructions on how to switch the parts out. Anyone know how this would be done? That's the reason I asked if this has happened to anyone else.

It's broken plastic, so I don't think there's a fix. I contacted my retailer and was given the option to replace him, but chose to opt for store credit. I'm hoping on a V2 with fixes because it really is a beautiful figure.

FansToys is sending me a replacement part. So I was wondering if anyone knew what I had to disassemble to replace the part

As far as I know, you'd be the first to try to fix that particular issue. I'd ask Fans Toys for a tutorial as I haven't seen one posted in this thread. When it happened to me, I searched for a fix for a while before I gave up and opted to try to return him. If anyone else was able to fix it and just didn't post it, hopefully they can help you.

That and now seeing his arm falling off. But that can be an user error.

    Thanks buddy.
But i can't order it from the US since i live in EU.
    Import tax will kill me.
Let's say this guy 160 usd + shipping 40 usd is 200 usd.
    Then i have to pay 17,50 euros + 20 or 25% of 200 is 40 or 50. That's make it 200 is 185 euros + 17,50 + 40 or 50 = 242,50 or 252,50 euros for me.
Cheapest on e-bay now is 220 usd but is it realiable? and also still to expensive.
I should have bought one in the beginning.
Now it's waiting for a reissue. ( hope it will come with fixes ) I'm almost certain this guy will bet rerelease since he's so popular.
Or pay over the top price, which i'm not going to do.

It's flawless.... all I had to do was diamond file it.

And the waist plates can easily be pulled off.

    But it's flawless ;)

Hmmm... I saw that after I posted the question. I work in the toy industry and, well, sometimes that kind of stuff just happens. Not an issue of design or assembly or QC. Sometimes there are uncontrollable factors with plastic formulation. Now, if this is happening a lot, like if 20-30 people here have posted that their arms have snapped off, then I can say there is a problem. I have gone back through a few pages of posts and there have been a fair few comments about the paint scratching on the chest plate but I don't see how and I can only say that it must be user error. I really do want to know if there are any chronic issues so I can know what to look for and maybe avoid it in my own collection so I guess I'm being a bit self serving or selfish...

The paint chipping is a fact, be very careful...

I am not so sure about the shoulders yet, but there is nothing wrong with being careful nonetheless!

    YouTube (Handle):
It's not user error. Mine was scratched out of the box and I dare not transform it because the damn thing is designed with a piece that actively rubs against the painted die cast chest. It's just asking to chip. It's not like this is a one off either. Pretty much the entire first run of Hoodlum is chipped.

It is not user error. I know this has already been said but I am reiterating to emphasize it.
Regular handling and transformation scratched up my first chest and seemingly a lot of others' as well.
If it was user error, I would have paint issues with a ton of my painted figures, and I really don't.
This is akin to the pain chipping on the official MP Grimlock crotch and the inner parts of v1 official mp Starscream.
Also, what would even constitute user error for paint scratches like this? Your fingernail on it's own shouldn't be enough to scratch lest you went at it like a maniac. So what else? Scrapping it along a table or floor when transforming it? I'm guessing most fans who shell out 200 bucks for a figure know better than to manhandle them.
The final thing is people transforming it incorrectly so that pieces unnecessarily rubbed against each other, and many, including myself have already stated that scratches happened even without transforming it and having the knees rub up against the chest.
Oof. Need a public sorry and replacement that is scratch resistant from FT already.

I hope for everyone’s sake that a) there’s a reissue and b) the issues are fixed. The former seems likely, but I honestly have doubts about the latter. FT has a good track record of releasing new upgrade parts, but not so much in fixing QC issues, right? The most notable FT QC issue for me is Forager’s breaking wings. Did they ever do a reissue or fix for that? I can’t remember.

I think a fix to the paint chipping seems likely in a reissue, but I’d be pretty surprised if they changed anything in the arm assembly. And that’s the bigger issue for me... I can live with chipped paint, but an arm falling off a figure is a lot harder to forgive.
