Is funny, every time that I complete the set I say “Well they look great and that’s enough!”, then Iron Factory comes with more redecos or the Fembots and I jump again on the bandwagon!

Be on the lookout once MFT release more I’ve seen people offloading theirs for those. Me I still love the IF and their size is perfect for me.

Probably because I live in NJ. They started collecting taxes on almost all of the online purchases I’ve made (Amazon, BBTS, eBay, etc).

apparently this guy ships in two separate boxes. it is an easy mistake and i almost left with just the upgrade kit and no seeker. luckily i was there just yappin away when i opened it to find all that out. i happened to be at the right time and at the right place.

btw...Toydojo fuck the world!!!

 

Wouldn't be suprised if some received just one of the two packages. Prefer them both but if one has to be left behind let it be the upgrade parts.

Cool, is the upgrade box like the coronation kit, and presumably a sprue of different fists like came with Megatron for Starscream? Its interesting that they opted for two boxes.

 

the upgrage kit is only the hands, cape/shoulder pads and the stand.

i will snap some pics in a second when i finish eating and stuff. but just messing around with him now. i dont get the premium feel that i normally get from IF. not that they cut corners or anything. but this mold feels a little off. i only have the first 3 seekers to be clear. but when compared to the main 3 seekers that i have. im just feeling a little something different.

 

The previous IF seekers, with the exception of ghost Starscream and Sunstorm, have been given a designation after a color. Is Spinel a color?

 

Spinel is a gemstone that comes in different colors, but is mainly known for it's blood red version.

Yeah, it was added on by eBay during checkout. Effin' nickel and dime crap is getting tiresome  

 

thanks for this info - hopefully all sellers are sending BOTH boxes by default, rather than just the figure and then selling the upgrade parts separately...
(i actually wish Iron Factory wouldn't have packaged them separately like this, 'cuz now there is a potential for confusion and incomplete sets!)

 

so after a bit of tinkering around i see that i judged this bot wrong. from all points that i can see he has the same fit and finish as the other seekers.

i only wish his red was more red instead of the orange red thing he has going on. the same can be said about his clear bits. those would have been amazing if they were ruby red like ghost starscream.

but all and all i am happy with him. i might even swing by to get another but i am not sure yet.
