Finally got mine in and it looks and feels great. Very heavy. The only real problem I have found are the outer hips being too loose and not holding the legs up. Needed ratchets. I am going to try and tight the universal joint but overall very pleased.

Seems like all of the reviews are extremely positive!

The one gripe some have with the alt form is the lack of a continuous purple line across the trailer but the broken up purple it is consistent with the G1 cartoon.

literally the modern menasor. The menasor of our times, the menasor we deserve?

im not sure how i feel about this yet. Ive got a bag full of airplane wings in a drawer that has not bothered me one bit and i thought it would. Im just enjoying me aesthetically streamlined superion. Ive got add on filler pieces on constructor and armegeddon. the lines been crossed

So where do you stash the other car pieces? I'm 99.999% sure that they split. Or at lest the shells of the cars do. Looks like there are enough extra combined bot parts here as is... why add more?

FT never add ratchets to the joints for the leg outward movement... Which I find disappointing, because I keep my TF in "extreme action" poses, maybe they know that most of their fans keep them in a slight A stand, then put them on the shelf and forget about them.

I wasn't going to go in on Fans Toys Menasor as I had the XTB limbs on pre-order and not being a fan of the G1 Menasor design but Roadking looks too good to pass up. It will be here on Wednesday.

I’d like to see the back of menasor. With the way roaring folds up, I looks like the feet will stick straight out from his back

I guess I didn't really explain what I meant clearly. I'm not taking about extra pieces... I think the armbots have an extending bar (with an elbow joint built it) that allows them to elongate for combined mode without splitting into two car pieces. The combiner bicep's shell then wraps around the elongated joint to fill out the arm.

If you look closely at the combined mode renders, the combiner has two different elbow joints next to each other. I can't think of any reason for this unless it's because both the combiner shell and the car have an elbow joint that operates in tandem. Hopefully my photo highlights when I mean.

    motor 1.jpg

It's even MORE evident on the left arm bot: the bicep from the combiner shell clearly has a gap between it and the carbot.

I primarily display in alt mode, but this MFer is staying in bot mode. Right next to my vintage MIB giftset.

Sure looking that way, especially with the cars on the legs. Literally look like they were plugged in

This makes sense. Like an extending elongated joint. Interesting idea. :thumb

The XTB limb bots pair/scale perfectly with RK imho... so you always have the option of displaying them together in bot/car mode. They make a nice set.

It certainly would be nice, but I am quite sure that this will not be the case.

Upon closer inspection, I'm actually 100% sure that the armbots don't split into two pieces. They don't even have an extending bar. They slot into the combiner shell with their robot mode thighs fully extended, and it's quite easy to spot by looking at Dragstrip:

Notice how Dragstrip has two different knee designs (highlighted in yellow). The left knee has an extra hinge for the combiner mode. Furthermore, you can even see his thigh piece sticking out from below the combiner shell (I've highlighted it in purple). The separate combiner shell elbow is in green.

Which is to say, the arm bots are one solid robot, even in combined mode. That's honestly great.

You are saying that their bodies extend and then the combiner's biceps are basically covers that plug in on them?
EDIT: yeah i just saw your post before this one...Interesting

How does Roadking even configure into anything resembling Marauder?
