ah! perfect then! i think Universe 2.0 Jazz is about the same size as a Hotwheels car. Here he is with MFT 58381381_1887948344642463_1161546868384071680_n.jpg Devcon, Grimlock, and PPT Magnus

Oh. Well that may work then. I'm still not sure since I edited all the stripes and stuff to Manero's measurements but it can't hurt to try, right? I mean they're waterslides so if you don't like how it turns out, all you gotta do is get soak them and they'll come right off.

spot on. i'm building an HG kit at the moment, might as well strike while the iron is hot, or when all my tools are out.

Jazz: Hey there, little man. I got a surprise for you.
Jazz Jr: My own rocket gun! Thank you, Dad!

Jr: It's perfect! I love it!
Jazz: Right on, little man. Now let's strike a pose for this weird cat that keeps snapping pics of us.

Obviously it's all finished. I'm gonna have to be super careful not to touch the chrome at all for at least a few weeks - Molotow has a really long curing time.

Finished revising the file and making it ready for publishing. You can download it for printing yourself at Thingiverse or you can buy a print for $7.50 from Shapeways (I know it's pricey but that's just their price - I didn't add any markup) in their frosted extreme detail plastic (you can also get it in frosted ultra detail but it's the same price so I don't imagine anybody is going to be choosing that option). [Edit] Just checked and the price has changed to $10 for FED. Since I doubt it'll make any noticable difference , I recommeng going with the cheaper option.[/edit]

And a few more pics. Decided to use a different color background instead of black since the launcher and Jazz himself have a lot of black. 2019-04-28 11.22.28.jpg

Layer lines make it look a lot rougher up close but when viewed from a normal distance, it's really not that bad. Also, despite the fact that I freakin' modeled the thing, somehow I screwed up and glued the rocket in upside down

One last shot before I stop hijacking this thread with my customized Jazz. He's returned to my desk to live among his legends brethren.

    IMG_20190429_091515.jpg

Damn I love him with these stripes!

[Edit] I stuck him up and behind everyone else do there's less risk of him being touched or bumped while waiting for the chrome to cure. In a month or so, I'll move him to a more front and center position so I can really enjoy the detail work on him.

Got mine today and I absolutely love him! The engineering on such a small item is mind breaking. Dare I say I may like him better than IF's one. I hope we get some reprolabels for him in the future. Really dig what you did with him @Snaku.

Yeah, I like this guy a lot, but though he looks better proportioned than harry, I think he's not quite on the same level. I wish he had a better range of head artic for example, and there's some clearance issues on the hips. And though I like the 'ad crunch', I wish it was a bit tighter. Still, three for three for the newage bots I've picked up so far.

I agree, I like Prowl just a bit better, but still a great bot.

Is it just me or do Manero’s knees scare the hell out of anyone else. Mine has little tiny stress marks on them and I’m a bit afraid to keep on transforming him.

I’m actually thinking of getting a second to leave in the box just in case they snap on eventually, which is nuts for me.

the knees are a little tricky, if you hold the hold grey flap and lift up it clicks the knee into place for bot mode. After a couple times, it gets better. i think the pin is just a hair long and snaps the plastic.

Yeah, it gets easier and less scary after you do it a few times and figure out the best way to get the joint to move while using other parts for leverage when going back and forth.

Got the Shockwave/Shockblast version of the figure in my mail today. I really really love it. And yeah, actual Jazz's is on his way too, looking forward to it.

Guess I'm officially all in for this line of little dudes, I really like the ones I've got this far!

I ordered Jazz and Stepper over the weekend, each from different eBay sellers. Now to see who gets in first! :p

Did NewAge accidentally swap the inside ankle rocker connection pieces between their and Jazz their Stepper? It seems like Jazz should have the gray one and stepper the black, not the other way around.

Got Jazz the other week and just got Stepper today. I can’t say that I love the figure because of the transformation. Aesthetically, very pleasing in both modes, and the box is nice too and not too big. But the transformation is a pain in the backside, especially when compared to the Prowl mold.

I may only keep these as placeholders until MS release theirs. But was hoping for much more than I got.

The Jazz mold transformation is a little cumbersome the first time through, but it gets easier once you figure out all the little idiosyncrasies. The only part I wish was a little different is the knees during transformations. I feel like something will eventually break.

That’s the bit I hate most. And the chest is just unnecessarily awkward too. I have the Shockwave version too, but haven’t opened it yet, may sell it on. Shame, as their other stuff is spot on.

And, as many have stated before, it’s a pity they’re not the current legends size, as they would then be a little easier to handle size wise and would’ve fitted better into most collections.
