I'm considering buying into this but $50 is a pretty hefty asking price when the only thing you collect is Transformers (and only generations stuff at that). The thing is I'm also considering it as I have an SDCC badge and it may be worth it if they provide a VIP line for members as they did for Star Wars Celebration (I have heard).

But I'm not sure it's worth it for the off chance they do this so I need to know if any TF fans have had any experience with the service ot feel it is otherwise worth the $50 for the year.

It was free when it first started.

It’s worth that. No way is it worth $50.

There doesn't seem to be a way to show/prove you have a Hasbro Pulse Premium membership while standing in line (like a membership card or even a number), so the VIP line at Star Wars Celebration doesn't sound right.

Star Wars Celebration – Hasbro Pulse

They apparently did a sign up for these passes and you showed your phone to get front of the line for the Hasbro booth. Heard about this on an SDCC forum I also frequent.

We don't entirely know what it's worth yet, but I got it for free. As of right now there hasn't been an exclusive that's drawn me in, but that could change over the summer what with the conventions. To get the free VIP, I got a Siege Cog that took almost two and a half weeks to get to my house. For the East Coast the free shipping is supposedly great, but here on the West Coast almost every other option is similarly priced and faster. I would absolutely not pay $50 for it right now.

I would wait until like a few days before SDCC so you have all the information needed to make an informed decision if you want to fork over the $50 to get to the front of the line.

As of now, I wouldn't pay $50. It's not worth it at all as of right now.

Gotcha, so basically it's not worth it unless I hear about a pass for SDCC front of the line and then only if I feel it's worth $50 to do that.

You got it! I got it free too(all you had to do was buy something within like a week of launch).
And HEY free shipping! So you can buy figures at MSRP shipped to your house for free! So that's nice!
But that's all it's done thus far... (As of now it's saved me $15.98)

I got it free by ordering Siege Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave from them. I think I have my Thundercracker from there too.

Siege has been easily available on Amazon so far, so I don't know if it will be worth it in the future.

Like others here mine was free, I would say don't spend $ on it unless you do not buy figures in stores. I use pulse as a backup, but usually end up canceling orders there after I pick it up in store. So I've maybe saved 15$ since it started.
