Don't forget about CJ. Give him some love too.

Westbrook needs to do more driving and kicking, especially when his shots aren't falling. Because he's a ball-dominant PG, his poor shot selection and costly turnovers doubly hurts the team and usually leads to runs for Ripcity and stretches where the Thunder can't score.

I totally see Portland having a clear path to the WCF now.

Yup, the Warriors absolutely looked beyond to the Houston Rockets and completely forgot that they still have to beat the Clippers first.

And Steph's annual playoff disappearing act has shown up again for two games now.

13 damned turnovers in the first half.

It just baffles me that the Warriors can't seem to take care of the god damned ball after how many years now of winning championships.

Even though the Warriors won, that was still some of the most atrocious officiating for both teams involved. Either team winning should feel like they stole one.

Rockets have every right to see red with the officiating.

I felt like most of those calls that the Rockets were complaining about were non calls. At least for the playoffs. They weren't as egregious as Zaza on Kawhi a couple years ago imo. Problem with Houston is that they can't beat the Warriors straight up without all the the foul calls. They need the refs to bale them out. Harden would be a lot less effective if he couldn't shoot 15-20 foul shots a game like he normally does. Besides that, where were Capella and Tucker on offense? Non exsexist. And on that play where Curry made the 3 at the end, you couldn't find somebody else to guard him besides Nene? Why not put Gerald Green or a more athletic player on him in that situation?

I would say Klay did jump forward and land in Harden's landing space on at least two occasions. But when you're Harden and you jump three feet forward on your 3pt jumper INTO the defender AND jackknife your legs into the defender, you should forfeit your landing space as what happened with Draymond.

It's hard for refs though. You gotta watch for contact up top at the hands and watch the feet when they land.

And let's be fair, Steph does it too where he kicks out to draw fouls. Klay doesn't do that BS which is why I appreciate him far more as a shooter.

I am a neutral fan and just want to see good basketball. The complaining about fouls or lack of fouls is taking this game to a very ugly and petty level, especially when you have specialists who prey on taking advantage of selling foul calls.

I will say this though, it's important to protect shooters. You could have serious injuries such as when Jalen did it to Kobe, Dahntay Jones did it to Kobe, or a series changing moment like what Zaza did to Kawhi. Even if it doesn't result in injury, now when shooters rise up, they have to fear not being able to come down and that could ultimately affect how they shoot. I've been the victim of a few of those and 1) they hurt and 2) they mess with you psychologically because you don't want to get hurt again.

The way I see it, yesterday was a mixture of missed calls both ways. There were missed calls for CP3/Harden where the shooter was fouled because they weren't allowed to land properly. There were also missed calls for when the offensive player kicks out their leg trying to make contact to sell a foul and should have been an offensive foul. This rule was put in place a while ago, but they don't call it that often. It's the "Reggie Miller" rule:

Breaking Down What the New 'Reggie Miller Rule' Will Mean for NBA Jumpshooters

Game 2 we'll probably see a lot more calls for Harden selling fouls, but I hope they call it the other way for an offensive foul too if it is an egregious extension of the legs.

I can't believe the Houston Rockets actually made a report claiming they should've won Game 7 last year.

I mean, that is some of the most stupidest crap I've ever seen.

    Oh shi... :lolol

Rockets' least favorite referee working Game 2

Rockets: The refs in Game 1 we're biased AND we've submitted a report on how the refs stole game 7 from us last year.

NBA: You really wanna do this? You really wanna go down this road? Guess what. Scott Foster is now gonna ref Game 2. How you like that?

This is poetically petty on a legendary level.

    God DAMN it Steph.

You lost game 3 for the Warriors.

AND you won Shaqtin' the Fool MVP for that missed dunk.

^Steph blowing open dunks/layups in crunch time is definitely something else

Glad my Raps were able to gut out the win yesterday, hope they truly return to form with some home cookin' tomorrow night and close out the Sixers. Playoff Kawhi is on another level and is unquestionably elite, some even say it's a toss up between him & KD right now.
In terms of free agency: I don't see him coming back (and I don't blame him), too much of a load to shoulder in Toronto. But if he brings us the 'chip in June then I straight up don't care, y'all enjoy his services Clipper Nation!
