While I enjoyed last week even though the horse charge and a few other things were stupid as shit...I just didnt like a lot of this episode ( 4 ).

 

I hate euron, how the fuck has this guy pulled the same “surprise fuckos!” move so many times?

Could Dany not use her dragons to fly extremely fucking high and do a bit of scouting from the clouds?  

 

This sure feels like the work of the guy who wrote X-men origins wolverine.

 

They’ve lost their minds. The show is now so far removed from the early seasons to be unrecognizable. All sense of logic in the characters’ decisionmaking is gone, all sense of consequence is gone. It’s all in service of propelling the plot to the end that the writers presumably have in mind.

 

BTW the whole outline of the season was leaked before episode 4 and its just the tip of the iceberg. It's gonna get dumber and dumber.

 

Really? Cause I did read some supposed outlines for this season and they hardly match up, so far.

 

The one I saw matched so far and it was leaked 4 days before ep4.

Tactical Super-Weapon at least four of them trained on Daenerys yet Cersei doesn’t fire on her? End the whole war in one instant. Excellent writing that really grasps the weapons in the field

Means fuck all from behind. Sailing ships can’t turn that fast. And those are vulnerable from behind, good writing, run away Danny.

Besides the fact that ship isn’t even seaworthy with a giant fucking crossbow mounted one the bow. Let alone speed firing them, giant fucking shafts, on a ship, okay. I’m surprised Qyburn didn’t invent gunpowder in between episodes.

 

Doesn't work like RPG in real life, Kain. Think of it more like RTS. You have an entrenched enemy who already has a large army and support to gain more (golden company). You have less, but if you wait more to recruit troops, the enemy will also gain more than you do since she had better reinforcement lines than you. You wait more, the gap widens until you don't stand a chance at all. It was a risky move but waiting would have not paid out.

Maybe dragons can see through clouds and have eagle-like eyesight but she sure doesn't. She would have seen nothing. Why do you think hiding in clouds comes up as a tactic in movies with jet plane dogfights?

 

I have nothing for that..literally nothing if that's how this plays out....seen better fan fictioni.

I enjoyed the episode for the most part but if you’re telling me she couldn’t have flown high enough around kings landing to stay at a safe distance from any attacks to do some scouting before sending her armies in then I don’t know what to tell you.

The writers in the show afterward said “she forgot” about their weapon   I mean, come on. You just had a strategy meeting.

 

Can't say I was super thrilled with the ep either.

One thing I can't understand is how they never gave the dragons saddles or armor. Armor especially, since apparently their scales are pretty useless. I thought that was pretty standard in most dragon rider situations.

 

But it isn't real life, it's a television show.

  You would think with 2 years worth of planning they would have had enough time to pace all of it better. And for only having 2 episodes left after this, they sure as hell spent a lot of time just standing around talking.

Also, how the freaking hell did Bron get into the castle? That scene was just so random.

 

He snuck in during last week's episode... it was so dark, nobody noticed.
