  WTF is that bike!? Looks incredibly out of place.

Other than that I'm liking the figure. Hope it turn out to be a cheap alternative to Flame Toys stuff in the future. After handling Flame Toys figures I find them incredibly overpriced for what they are, even considering the cost of the license.

Looks great. Think it’ll be the same height as the Kuro Kara Kuri Prime?

Hope the bike is an optional piece. Looks so out of place, and that's a huge piece of plastic that I don't need to pay for.

Also, no ankle tilts? That's a bit of a let down.

I think the bike was featured in one of MTMTE's flashbacks, back when Optimus was still 'super-cop' Orion Pax. I haven't keep up with the IDW comics for a while, though, so I may be wrong.

I think the figure might actually transformable, given the presence of slight bits of kibble that probably wouldn't be present on a non-transforming figure, like the hinged pieces (truck doors, I think) on the sides of the forearms.

    Yep. Springarm’s dead body.

Huh. True. It’s possible. Would be really cool.

I'd love to agree with you, but I'm struggling to see any hinges. They look like solid pieces to me.

The forearm pieces are part of his design, so it's not like they're extra kibble.

So I’m assuming if they’re pairing this with a bike accessory that this figure is pretty small?

Yeah I was just about to say that I wonder how big this guy is. If hes an inch or two taller than the flame toys model (basically a tall Voyager) I' be totally down for it. The flame toys one is just slightly too small to fit into my classics-ish idw collection

But the door handle isn’t a part of the design, at least what I recall. So why is that there?

This is true, I can't find any incarnation that has those. Perhaps it's just a superfluous detail. I just can't see this thing transforming, there's no visible hinges, and no 21st century engineering can make this design turn into a truck without any sort of giveaway.

3rd party business must be BOOMING.

First we got a fried chicken seller (KFC) and now we have a mixed martial artist. Who's next? A dog whisperer?

As a Tron fan I absolutely love that bike, but yeah it's entirely out of place with this Optimus. Im not an IDW fan but I was considering getting this, mostly for the bike, until someone pointed out the lack of ankle tilts.

How does it become acceptable to anyone to make a figure that can't transform without ankle tilts?

It isn’t. At all. That’s why you buy non-transforming figures.

I would like to know why he gets a Springarm corpsemobile but he’s not in the Orion Pax Supercop frame. I’d much rather have an Orion Pax than this Prime, which has two transforming toys, a model kit, and the Flame Toys upcoming metal build (stylized, but still.)

Never noticed. Well that settles it.

Yeah it’d be nicer to have a different one. Especially one that matches his own accessory.
