Hey would it be possible for you to do a size comparison of Megs next to leader class 07 Brawl? If not It's whatever.

Still it stinks that a modern figure has such a design flaw. SS has been pretty good IMO about quality control and design flaws (well, except Blackout's shoulders).

I actually shaved the windshield piece, directly behind his head, in order to allow for it to move more freely.

How does it effect the truck mode?

 

In my opinion until 2021 there would be Studio Series because earlier that will be the launch of a new movie or could even be the Studio Series part of that line something similar to the line of Bumblebee toys (BB Prime, BB Shatter and BB Dropkick ) were part of the Studio Series. And if it ends in 2021 I hope 90% of the characters in the movies will get their figure (I wait for the Dinobots with anxiety especially after that wonderful SS Leader Class Grimlock)

and other smaller yellow dump truck for rampage should be too?

 

Just picked up Drift and Baby Dinobots today.

 

It doesn't affect it at all, as you'd only be shaving a small layer of the plastic off.

I hope you all enjoy the silly headcanon bio I came up with for this guy, hodgepodged together from various iterations of the character (and associated characters)


Once, he was known as Smokejumper; a bot who loathed fighting and wanted no part of it. But as he realized that the Cybertronian civil war would never end, even he eventually found himself swept up into it and coerced by smarter Decepticons to join them; bribed with technology that granted him the ability to teleport, and allured with the promise that they would bring peace through victory.

Over time, Smokejumper found his rut in the war: initially starting with just harmlessly taunting and scaring Autobots while his comrades picked them off. But over the millennia he developed a sadistic streak, mere psychological warfare finally giving way to depraved lust for fear, feeding off of it, finding no greater pleasure than seeing the terror in his victim's eyes before snuffing their sparks.

Eventually, the gentle pacifist that was Smokejumper was forgotten, and in its place was a monster forged from the nervous whispers of the Autobots of a bloodthirsty bogeyman that could be anywhere and strike at any time... And though many dismissed him as simply an urban legend, they soon would find how true the legends were.

Just my opinion: Hasbro would be insane to end Studio Series in 2021. There is so much stuff you could do, beyond just the obvious of adapting all the film characters;

1. Repaint the molds/add new heads to make different characters, like Dino into a blue/white Bayverse Mirage, turn Que into Wheeljack, etc. Also G1 colors for Ratchet and others.

2. Repaints based on stuff they did for the old toylines, like Nightwatch Optimus and Stealth Bumblebee

3. New molds for offscreen-movie characters like Longarm or Breakway. Some of them they could just upscale the old toy and add some improvements like they did for Starscream. Hailstorm and Dirge would be great for this, especially Dirge because they could make a Conehead trio!

4. New molds for adapting other characters into the Bayverse OR Knightverse that we haven't seen yet, like Trailbreaker or Warpath.

5. Knightverse molds with Bayverse paint schemes, Black Ironhide & Green Ratchet

Utilize all these, and they could probably run Studio Series for another 5 years if they wanted.

I like these ideas! Longarm is basicly the same truck as Ironhide, just a single cab, not raised and a towtruck-rear instead of a bed, he just needs minor alterations to become the most accurate mik(a)e(la)’s towingtruck to date.

And then there are cars hinted to be bots but never got an onscreen botmode..

P.s. I want Hooligan and the Twins!
