Yeah I wasn't able to grab one either. They would list like 10 or so at a time and then another 10-20 a day later. And then just stopped. Transformers: Generations Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking | eBay
Grand Blanc Walmart has a bunch of Siege Ironhides, Prowls, & Chromias. A couple SixGun. 3 Siege Ravage/Laserbeak.
If anyone is interested in the Flame Toys model kits the Barnes and Noble on Hall Road in Sterling Heights has 2 Starscreams and 1 IDW Optimus. There were 2 Optimus kits but I brought one home with me
I haven't built mine yet, only cracked open the box to look at the contents. From what I've heard and read they're really nice kits and pretty easy to build. Here's the thread for them: New Flame Toys Furai Model Kits
^I received mine from BBTS about a month ago and still have not built it yet. I have also had a second set of the Mini Pla Voltron kit for about a month now too and still have not built that yet either........ Time and patience are two things I don't have a lot of, and unfortunately, model kits require both those...........
Holy crap!! Maybe they went that route, instead of selling them to Ollie's? Regardless, we're just getting to the point where rumors of Ollie's appearances would start beginning, so that's not a shut door yet either.
I've got the Starscream but haven't started it yet. I'm always building a model or six lol. airplanes, sci-fi ships, gaming minis...all sorts of stuff. I've built a handful of Armored Core models so I'm imagining the Transformers models will be somewhat similar since they have the articulation. What kind of models do you build?
Same stuff bud. Mostly military, aviation and sci fi stuff. I ha e a decent model collection. My all time favs are the old monogram and revell action model kits, and the lindberg motorized kits. I have a holy grail model kit I've been looking for for years, it's the old revell electronic P40. Efffin great model toy when built. Motorized prop, functional landing gear, light up running light and guns...awww man..good shit. I just picked up a few at a local toy store..its a new vintage toy and collectible shop. All you guys should check it out..its really cool. Right on Ecorse road between Allen and Pelham. I think it's called GBM collectibles. Pocked up these and a 72nd hasegawa F4 for $10 and the Dornier has photo etched parts, all complete. He had a bunch more too. Pocked up this stuka model at the middlebelt flea market for $5! Has mostly diecast parts and is considered a high end model kit. Sells on Ebay for $50 + Just worked out a deal on FB to get 2 of the commemorative apollo module kits and the original MMU monogram kit for $40 + shipping!!! Those apollo kits have the clear side so you can see inside the service and command modules. VERY baddass kits. I figure me and my son will build them side by side. I've built...jeesh..seriously..prolly 400+ models in my life. 2000-2005 I had my own little business on Ebay selling "pro built models", so when you see that term..yea..kinda came from me. Noone was doing that when I was. I used to get tons of PMs for commissions and special requests. Car guys would want thier car made...I made the USS little rock (Pre refit) for the USS little rock museum, I think its still in a glass case there. I also built an old 24 scale BIIIG airfix Stuka kit for some WWII museum in Washington state. One of the curators flew a stuka, and the employees pooled together to pay me to build HIS plane, that's where I learned how to make custom decals n shit. That stuka was prolly the best damn model I ever built. I have pics on a HD somewhere, but I dished out tons for special made 24 scale gauges, and used a clear epoxy to simulate the convex glass over the instruments. Its was sick as f$#s. I still have some really good kits I'm sitting on. The original tamiya 88mm flak with carriage from the 70s, an F104 cockpit, and a tamiya CLEAR ME 262...I think the clear ME 262 will be a retirement model.. can you imagine painting every single part because you can see thru the freakin plane?!? Awesome shit.. I used to also sell gundam kits on Ebay. Who would have thought? I used to be able to buy a master grade kit on Ebay for say $40 on a deal right? Have maybe $10 in paint n supllies... ENJOY THE HELL OUT OF BUILDING IT...then sell it for a cool $150 all day long. Goddam I miss those days. Ebay is way waaaaay too saturated now. And with Ebay policies..I'd never try that again So..yea...into models. I'm always trading and buying and selling so keep me in mind if you guys see decent kits. No car kits unless is something special. I took the last couple days off work this week, so I'm itching to get out of the house. Maybe FINALLY drive to see iaconas's new shop...or hit the middlebelt flea market. If anyone is bored and want to hit the flea market or check out iaconas's place hit me up.
Snake_eyes...there's a really good old school type model shop I found in Owosso. I picked up a lot of cool stuff right around my birthday, including a really special project I'd been looking to find...an F-16XL that's bigger than 1/144 lol. Dean's Hobby Stop is the name of the place. Those look like some cool kits you scored.
Anyone see sige starscream downriver anywhere? Been passing on it when I did see it..now everyone praises it so much I wanna get the three seekers
So people do like it? All I see is complaints about the canopy hinge and the overall paint apps. I have only seen it 1 time in stores and I grabbed it during the Target sale. I just haven't had a chance to open it yet. And on those sales... I had looked all over for Siege Leader Magnus when Traget and Meijer had them going. I only though about getting a raincheck at Meijer after the sale ended, and sure as shit the Canton Meijer had gotten one earlier this week.
I've got an extra if anyone is looking for 'Screamer! ordered him and soundwave off BBTS and ended up finding one before they showed up and now i can't return it to BBTS.
Is everyone looking forward to motor city comic con this year? Is anyone going? (Yes I have been gone, but I am still alive. Not that anyone missed me) Don’t forget to come see us at New Baltimore trade center at 23 and Jefferson
