Edelweiss is very cute but I do wish Koto will release another version with dress or something to better suit her princess status. Other than the shorts, her overall look is actually quite classy and royal looking.
New shinki finally arrived in the mail today just in time for Easter! Bunny Ninja Mizuki is here! Her bunny ears were too perfect for the season! I made her a cotton tail out of a q-tip end to complete the look. Bonus photo of a photo bomber. Nothing fluffy escapes squirrel hugs in this house.
My other peice of Azone clothing finally arrived! The color of the jacket matches Renge perfectly, and the giant sleeves meant for big picco neemo hands work great for her bulky hellboy style gauntlets! Now I just need to find a fubuki so Renge can use her fox tail!
Nice use of the Azone leather jacket. It doesn't really fit but the overall look turns out really nice! Sepaking of Azone stuff, I just missed the Azone special release of Kaede Agatsuma outfit yet again. The preorder was closed when I found out about this outfit and it's sold out everywhere now. I even considered paying the markup at Amazon Japan but the vendor doesn't ship to Canada. sign
From what I gather, Azone rarely do reissue for their product due to its niche market so if you see anything you really like, it's best to get it right away. However, this set is actually reissue of their old products bundled together so I might still have chance. Built the Asra Ninja Aoi and really love it! The original Asra colour was classic and cool but the Aoi colour is just bright and very livid. I like it way better t Will probably double dip and get the Archer in Aoi colour too. Going to hunt down some of these little armory water gun Or Kotobukiya's MSG water gun releasing this summer. Their ad just works too well to me lol.
Yes!! I finally got to pre-order of Azone clothing set for Alice Gear Aegis. Found out this set in the ad when browsing *** related website yesterday. To my horror, the pre-order and the product announcement silently went up on 25th Japanese time without any prior news on related site. I was already 2 days behind and almost all the eretailers shipping oversea like Amiami, 1999, Amazon Japan and Rokuten were sold out of the pre-order already. HLJ listing is no where to be found and likely won't have any based on my past experience with them. When I woke up this morning and absentmindedly open my browser, the AmiAmi sold out page reappeared so I searched on all the websites again and HLJ pre-order is finally up!!! Thank you for being slow and behind, HLJ . I like the previous set better but this looks good too. There are 2 more Alice Gear Aegis characters from Kotobukiya and 1 from Figma in the future. Given the series popularity in Japan, I have no doubt more sets will be coming out and my wallet will suffer.
Finished the main body. I added some white paint to the sailor collar and sleeves. I'm loving how different her design is from other frame arms girls.
I can't believe I've had these four since Christmas and have never gotten around to showcasing them. More pictures to come once I get time.

Yeah, I figure if I get Launcher, Lancer is almost definitely going to happen down the road since they're blatantly sisters. But I like the look of Launcher a bit more.
Yup, I like how Greifen is very different from the other FAGs too. Sadly, Kotobukiya has gone back to do 2.0 version of the earlier FAGs instead of new models. I like Bullet Knight sisters for their Five Star Stories vibe but I look forward more for the new MD Alice Gear Aegis character アリス・ギア・アイギス メガミデバイス 兼志谷 シタラ Ver.カルバチョート | プラモデル | KOTOBUKIYA The exosuit is designed by Kanetake Ebikawa, the designer of Gundam Exia and Arbalest. I personally think the exosuit looks better than most of the designs he have done after Gundam 00 series and wish there will be a robot version of the suit.
The new AGA girl is definately another one on my list of future kits to get! I didnt know the designer worked on gundam, but I can see it in the exosuit design. The game looks fun, I'm a little surprised it isn't available outside of Japan yet. Just finished building and painting Greifen! I'll try to post pics without the exosuit later.
So, combined with the current 15% off on USAGUNDAM, I might be able to snag the pre-order for Bullet Knight Launcher for $50 before shipping. Seriously tempted...
IRRC, the game is free mobile game relying on micro-transactions to survive so probably won't be profitable in NA market. However, the game seems relatively popular in Japan so that's why Kotobukiya has 3 related MD kits out already with another 3 in development. Figma and Megahouse will have AGA products soon.
