It’s hilarious that it looks like a thermal detonator. There is something funny about Coke and SW together, there is probably more junk in landfills with Coke and Star Wars labels slapped on them than anything else in human history.

If you think of how ubiquitous SW is in most people’s lives seeing Fortnite get some big screen recognition would probably grab more people’s attention at this point. Vader is more recognizable than Optimus.

I just wonder how Coke would react to it, and if Disney would tell them to suck it up or change the design.

Either way , I would find it funny.

Coke would ask what a thermal detonator is and then steal an impoverished nations water rights, slap Aquafina on it, and sell it back to them for 100% mark-up.

Suggesting Aquafina isn't just oily tap water.

Now that I think about it, isn't Aquifina Pepsi, and Dasani the oily coke water? I have well water, so I don’t buy either.

I have no problem with Aquafina.

Dasani on the other hand is what I would imagine to be like drinking a bottle of other people’s sweat.

Assuming that is a plastic container, you could probably shake it up, loosen the top and spike it to make a pretty good Coke grenade. Or just add the Star Wars version of Mentos, I guess.

I accept the Coke being canon once they also import Pepsi.

For some reason, I could easily see Mountain Dew being a product by a company owned by the Hutts. Must be the influence of that Slurm episode of "Futurama". "Party on, Jabba".

This is not me being facetious in any way, but Solo’s cinematography is so bizarrely murky that I think a lot of digital noise would start to creep into the blacks and blues of the frame on a DVD. That’s also a TV and player settings issue to be fair but Blu Ray would be a safer bet

This isn't even the first time Disney and Coke have worked together to create sci-fi immersive coke products. One of the snack bars in the 1994 Tomorrowland overhaul featured crates of "alien" Coke imported from other planets with a special font Coke designed themselves.

If the Orlando version of Galaxy's Edge brought this back Theme Park Nerds in their late 30s would love it. They'll never miss an opportunity to tell you how much better Tomorrowland '94 was thana other version in the Magik Kingdom.

Yeah give me a case of Pepsi CLEAR as i love that stuff. When it came out not too long ago back afew years i bought so much of that stuff where i live. I went around buying 24oz where ever i could buy some. I remember that from 93' and man that was some good stuff then and was still good stuff now. Dang,.... know i want a bottle,....well ginger ale will be just good enough till it comes back. I am still a Coke drinker but i tend to drink bubbles (soda pop) from both companies.

Happy May the 4th everybody. I honestly haven't watched any of the movies in that feels like forever, definitely having a marathon over the next few days. I'll be shedding some tears knowing Sir Mayhew is no longer with us, but it will be a grand celebration in his memory!
