'88 Headmasters! Still occasionally boggles my mind that Siren is taller than Hosehead. I mean, he's a bloody fire engine. They're meant to be talls lads. have you not seen Inferno or Hotspot? Nightbeat is still the queen of the scene though. Even with the 'wrong' face (and as the old UK comics freak, it'll always be the wrong face to me) he is a stunning delight.

Those fucking liability helmets though. Three whole extra bits for kids to lose. Yay!

How does Nightbeat look with Siren's head? I have Nightbeat but no Siren to try it

One of my favourite figures of the Headmaster era. Snapdragon combines many of my favourite things, dinosaurs, SR-71’s, Triplechangers, and an awesome colour scheme. In addition to getting a G1 Apeface myself someday, I hope we get updates of both, preferably simultaneously with a new Scorponok. 06D63096-D084-44B2-B525-8B9DB956BDA1.jpeg 14D824EE-3C2B-402C-AC0E-69805FCD7AA8.jpeg 774C2C71-3E3D-44A7-8567-3B031DD6100F.jpeg

This is my most FAVORITE transformer Snapdragon in my G1 collection bunch that i have. Also his brother Apeface,......the brothers of destruction i call them. Plus i don't know if you know but Snapdragon and Apeface are fairly descent priced now. If you can afford around $125 being bare min and maybe needing a few things. Then in looks to around $185 and maybe higher to being much better looking and has everything. I think you can pull it off by getting your dream. I pulled it off last year by getting my Snapdragon and Apeface and they are both 1 of my holy grail figures i own in my g1 collection. I thought the same way as you. I had the thinking of just 1 day i guess but I'm living proof you can pull it off. Just be very patient and know how much your will to spend on him or both and stick to that. I have around $325 invested for both figures and that does include shipping. I'm just trying to REALLY GIVE some words of encouragement so that you could own him or both figures which ever your thinking is. You CAN DO IT if you really put your mind to it. Happy hunting my friend and i hope you can get lucky and get him cause i love mine and wouldn't trade him for everything in my collection.

Hasbro (Platinum Triplechangers), Ceji (Constructicons) and TakaraTomy (Combaticons) G1 Transformers. Not G2. That yellow Dev is Euro G1 from 1986.

I've never heard of a color variant for Scorponok before - is this legit, or a photoshop?

Let’s face it, the “loosely themed” pic is just an excuse to get Greatshot in there somewhere. I know how you operate :p

Don’t ask me why, but I’ve always loved the Battlechargers. I only got Runamuck just a year or so ago, finally completing both teams of BattleJumpformers. Despite being “normal” rather than futuristic I like them more than the Jumpstarters. Probably because Runabout was one of my first Decepticon cars. I didn’t get another until the Micromaster Sports Car Patrol. A heavy burden for a lowly brick. 7CD8949C-8FCF-4331-82B7-73B8EFF4E34C.jpeg 1E541F11-F716-4877-9CAA-650CFFE6F5F3.jpeg

Sounds like you were in the same boat as me. I had Runabout as a kid but did not get Runamuck until I was an adult collector.
Unfortunately, neither of mine work properly anymore.

Forgive the double post, I’m bored and waiting for snow to melt so I can get my motorcycle out.

No matter what, this big yellowed licensing nightmare will always be one of my treasured old figures. I can’t wait for the upcoming Siege Jetfire to add the my humble JF armada. 6F133BAB-8962-41F5-8F5D-3E7E55C01FF7.jpeg 1F73AFB0-70B8-4331-99CC-025C75C0A02D.jpeg 69E853E4-730F-48BB-8BEC-468C37417C3F.jpeg 3F5F205C-6BC2-4C91-BAE8-1D063E43B53F.jpeg
No worries, I know I’ll get him eventually. I have a semi-formal order of completion for my G1 collection and right now I’m focused on finishing up Bruticus. Just need Onslaught and Blast-Off.

There’s a thread on it here on TFW2005. Just search for Previously Unknown G1 Scorponok Colour Scheme.

    I want one.

Runamuck works, but poor Runabout is nearing Mode Lock. I’m glad the Throttlebots eschewed the auto-transformation gimmick. I love those little doofus’ as well.

that Jetfire is the real deal - beautiful!

Are certain parts still white because they were replaced, or because they're painted diecast?

Love seeing old TFs that have been through so much, but are still in one piece! As nice as pristine ones are, there's something about a played-with one that is extra special.

Hasbro Transformers G1 Decepticon beastie selection - Terrorcons (1987), Headmasters Horri-bull and Fangry, plus Powermaster Doubledealer (1988) - also Gatoraider. Don't own Squeezeplay, unfortunately.
