Right. At the moment, Baba has the best deal for the reissue v2 as well as the G2 repaint.

I'm getting both.  
Baba's price is the best as of now for Arkose. Who knows if he'll jack up the price once it is released though.

 

Did the same with the V2 G1. Glad I jumped on it then.

 

Any word on improvements made in this 2019 reissue of G1 Arkose?

Got my G2 Arkose in from Toydojo yesterday. so here's some XTB G2 alt mode pics:





I have no idea how to mount his gun in alt mode. I'll prolly post some bot pics later.

 

Should have mine next week. Beachcomber was one of my fav minibots. Gold hand an all. Love the gun mould too.

 

So pretty. If they do a G2 Seaspray, I hope XTB does the purple version to change things up a bit. Hopefully a G2 Hubcap shows up too, to round them out?

I'm debating whether to ship G2 Arkose out now (my G2 Wildrider will be with him), or wait until the next two Stunticon cars drop.

Depends. This one has a real world alt mode. FT is a generic looking cartoon buggy. If you prefer real world alts, then there's no question you should get this. If not, then waiting for FT might be a good idea but there's always the risk this will sell out before FT's comes out so, if you don't like what you see of FT's final version, it may be too late to get this guy.

[Edit] Also, iirc, FT's will have a clean back with no backpack so that's something to keep in mind as well.

Anyone have their hands on the version 2 or G2 yet? Does he feel any different in hand, better tolerances, anything? I was debating swapping out my original that I bought 2nd hand with a broken tab, or just waiting for FT.

Same here. Should I buy it or wait for FT? I remember reading from somewhere they listed the improvements over version 1 but cant recall where it is.

 

From what I can recall, they reduced the size of the heel spur and gave it a nice metallic paint finish. I guess I'm just curious if he feels any more solid in hand.
