You guys seen Solo. I thought it was a ok to good movie. Flawed but nowhere near as bad as social media claims it was.
So I actually will chime in and say I am one of those people who actually prefers older toys, not because I think they were made better or are objectively better, just because are more fun for me to play with. I’ve had a lot of trouble in the last half decade with dwindling energy levels so why I used to enjoy complex and compelling transformations, most nights I just don’t have the juice to do them anymore. Instead I try to look for creative gimmicks and features and things that give the toy as much value as possible despite its simplicity. I feel like that falls into your “why do we collect” interests so there it is!
I feel slightly misled because Seth talked about having but not seeing the Solo movie enough times that when seeing the thumbnail I thought "Oh man here comes Seth more of his I-5 hot takes."
(For the record I actually enjoyed Solo and I really enioyed this episode! Cool to get some general questions and opinions out there and clarified!)
For years I thought I was almost alone in my disgust for the term ‘man cave’. It even SOUNDS like gross body odour, I don’t even need to be around one.
