Is Ben the only reviewer to have gotten LA Hire? No Chinese language reviews even? Or did I miss something?

 

I think Dino is their only good release. So far nothing broke or no parts dropping like crazy on mine. Also have to bear in mind, the majority of the engineering work is based on a Hastak design..that's why it's solid.

He looks so insanely posable. Ben didn't even scratch the surface with the posability of this figure.

 

Has there been any info on its height? I wonder if it’s the same as DX9 Montana.....

 

TBH I've accepted that they will never get the truck right. Even challenger's truck looks wacky. TW's bot mode has overridden that exact same mentality that I always have.

How much longer are we gonna have to wait for this guy? They keep changing the month of release. Supposed to have been released this month, now they're saying June. June will start and then they'll say July.

If the reason for all the delays is so they can make sure that QC is great then that's fine. Just wish the would keep us updated.

 

This guy was originally supposed to release last year in June, competing with TFEVO Hot Fire.

Since UT is producing their 2nd batch Challenger and Dark Challenger, I expect he'll release in July.

 

I paid in full for this guy over a year ago now. Gutted my collection still has a Hotrod shaped gap in it, so hopefully it does release soon. I imagine since we got those updated pics and reviews he will be out shortly.

 

This guy was going to be my first 3rd Party Transformer since the estimated release date was somewhat close. I wanted to know what the big deal was with 3P and since I liked the car mode (and wanted the Vivian to drive it) I took a chance. Then I learned that estimated release dates slip and that is normal in this area, so didn't panic. I bought two other 3P bots since then and just keep an eye on this guy eventually releasing.

So in a way this one has been an interesting education in the 3P realm.

 

What are the other two 3P bots that you've bought? Are you impressed by their quality and engineering?

 

Apologies to those who are watching this thread for updates on the delivery of La Hire.

The two I bought since my pre-order for La Hire were DX9 Richthofen and XTB Savant. Both are really interesting engineering and after a fix to Savant both are pretty solid and fun to play with.

 

When did ben’s review come out? I’d estimate that he will ship 2 months after that. That’s usually how it goes. I remember watching ben’s review for Challenger over and over in the space between when he “reviewed” it and when it actually released.
