Snake Mountain is up for pre-order, $750 shipped in US! Wow I guess the previous member saying shipping would be $200 is correct. 5% charge if you use payment plan so close to $800. I'm gonna pass, I wanted it for completion sake but that's just too much.

I have no interest in Snake Mountain, even though it does look great. The thing that gets me is even with figures there, I don't think I can appreciate just how enormous that set is, kind of like when Metroplex came out, you can think of the dimensions, but until you have him in hand, you don't really get just how big that is in person. You can hear something is 4 feet long, but I think (at least for me), until I see it, it just seems a little abstract.

Do you have a credit card?

I couldn't collect without one. Retail is so poor that I can't pass on anything for fear that it's my only chance to buy it. Online it's the only real option. Shows, I carry cash, but that's largely a function of selling and making change.

That said, I wouldn't worry too much. Almost nobody is paying $50 for these.

Wow, I was only off by around $10! Better margin of error than professional pollsters!

Looks like Super7 wants all of the money this time. The echos of MattyCollector in their marketing is interesting too.

    1. Im the other person who pays 50 for these, but already have Merman in my POL, just wsiting to add MEF and Sorceress, and I think Tong Lasher will last a while.

    2. Super 7 needs to meet a minimum while the preorder window is open; if the minimum is not meet there will be no SM.

Ugh. I would love to get Snake Mountain, but there's just no damned way... just don't have that kind of room in my collection. If I did I wouldn't have sold off my Castle Grayskull.

Drats...it’s only for US customers...will it be open to international collectors?

Thanks man! I appreciate it as I’ve been pretty out of the loop.

Tbh I find the playset pretty plain from the back...

Super 7's MOTU Classics Snake Mountain stands a strong chance in becoming epic toy history. We're looking at a new home for MOTU Classics Skeletor that's going to be about 3 feet tall and include some iconic furniture like his bone throne and table. If you think the price for this thing is insane now, wait until this thing dries up and the only place to get it is on the secondary market like eBay. It may even make the USS Flagg look like a bargain down the road.

    BBTS:

$800 USD - $160 (deposit) = $640 balance. Save $100 for the next 7 months and I'll have more than enough to cover this.

    Super 7:

    $600 USD + $53 (8.9% tax for me) + ~ $150 shipping = $803.00

Either way, I'll be paying about the same with just a few dollars difference at most.

What really worries me is how much space this thing is going to eat up. I wonder what people were thinking when they opted in on that Star Wars Jabba's Sail Barge? Was space for it ever an issue? If so, how did they end up working that out, or did they? I can make room for this purple and green beast but it may take some doing. I want it to look good. I want it to look like it belongs to wherever I put it. I still haven't quite mastered that with my Classics Castle Grayskull. I have a place for it, and it works. I'm just not happy with how I have it presented in my collection room. To add an even larger thing than that is going to make things more ...complicated. But then, this thing is something of a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I'm going to need to purge a lot more stuff. And it's going to hurt!

Well after seeing the info I'm still hoping this makes it that they don't cancel it cause not enough orders. I have my money ready even though I'm not likely the shipping. I am although really happy about that bone throne and tabe. Either way you look at it if you've collected as long as i did with mattycollector you just can't leave this on the table. Mattel was supposed to make this and it had blue tooth and everything but kitchen sink. So I've figured if i went that far the $600 plus $150 shipping hurts but i have to finish my collection with this to go with Mattel MOTUC figures.

I live on a budget, even with access to CC and right now I've slightly exceeded that by a fair margin so I'm tamping down until CC is paid off. Besides which BBTS never charges my card through Paypal they always take it out of the bank due to how it was set up when I first agreed to let them charge me through Paypal. Not enough $$$ in bank means no Mer-Man until more cash is available. I also need to save up for Classics Wave 4. So there is that to consider/factor in when I see figures I want in-stock at BBTS. It already costs me a premium due to how the Canadian Dollar sits right now, I ain't paying 50$ a figure, more like 70, so I'm being rather selective in when I get something and how.

Rereading what I said, I feel like such a drug dealer, trying to hook you on the hot new drug called Visa. Budgeting is real though. Card usage has fallen steeply at shows. You should have some time to pick up MerMan. The only Filmation wave that went really fast was Mattel's.

I believe the one with Hordak and Triclops on it went fast also. Not to discourage you, just saying, Im in the same boat, Merman I got it, Sorceress and MEF they are a different story.

Aren't you forgetting shipping? The info says "Shipping cost is calculated using dimensional weight instead of actual weight. Due to USPS size restrictions, this item is only available to ship by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground for all domestic orders."

$4 flat shipping isn't going to happen, it'll be pricey.

It also says Qualifies for $4 Flat Rate shipping though, I don't see why it wouldn't. You can order a crap ton of stuff that would outweigh this and still pay $4 shipping.

I have to say Im not that happy on $150 shipping as I'd like to see the actual price stamped for shipping on this. I did a test run and $750 is what it's going to take. I mean i read $100 deposit nonrefundable but if Super7 cancels you get that money back. I thought i understood that you only pay $100 and get billed for the rest later or did i not understand this right. Can ANYONE help me out here and explain that $100 and the total for me is $750 to pay when i check out or is $100 just took out first and rest later. I'm sort of confused on this cause that's alot of money that comes from a very very memorable youth place (Grandparents) - AND FAMILY in my heart to get this castle.

I think the $100 non-refundable, assuming the project goes through, is if you choose the payment plan. If the project doesn't move forward all money will be refunded no matter what. The payment plan does charge $30(5%) though, 1st payment is the $100.
