The coin is real and it was canceled for sure. Shadow panther is a lot less important than THE Megatron. Leader of the Predacons.

I have one of these coins in hand. It’s a legit product for sure.

SMH... If you really though Endgame would end that way

That guy was just quoting a meme or didn't see Endgame itself either.

Wow! Where'd you get that infinity gauntlet? I kind of want to get one for my Megatron now.

I guess this is kind of reassuring. Though the pattern on these Megatron's do look worse. Also aren't gundam kits, or kits in general more frail than the plastic used in mainline figures?

I think I might try loosening the screws a bit though just to be sure. Will probably have to undo the legs to reach some screws on the crotch though.

Model kits are typically made from polystyrene, which is more lightweight and brittle than the ABS most toys are made of. It holds sharper details, though.

Now he's been out a while and it's become clear the issue, although unfortunate and disapointing, isn't wide spread. I'm thinking the idea that this swirly plastic is more fragile than other plastic or might degrade over time has become a bit of Red Herring. Love it or hate it they've been using this stuff on Transformers and action figures in general for years, I personally find out ugly but it isn't anything new. The fact that a part that is failing already has 'lines' on it that look like crack is cracking is most likely coincidental. I'm almost certain it's 100% to do with some miss assembly and/or overly tight joints/screw on this area putting undue stress on this part and causing ot to crack rather than the strength of the part itself. So if you're worried about it take it apart and check it's correctly assembled and/or loosen the screws....job done.

This seems like the general concession on this. If you've played with yours and it hasn't broken, then you're most likely safe. This is probably something that happens extremely early in the toy's life cycle.

FINALLY got mine the end of last week.

It's so damn awesome. So much character, near-perfect show representation (BW Masterpieces nail that perfectly), fun accessories without going overboard and pointless, plenty of articulation in bot mode...yeah, I'm pretty smitten here.

To note, mine definitely has the common loose waist but the swirly plastic on the *ahem* crotchal area doesn't seem to be cracked at all.

When taking it out of the package and transforming it I couldn't stop saying "Yeeeeeess" over and over again. The price was hard to swallow but I'm glad a rationalized it. Probably the highest I'm willing to pay for a Masterpiece though.

I need MP Waspinator and Inferno ASAP.

Late to this party because my chosen retailer didn't get stock in until last week. But what a fantastic figure!

Finally having him in hand I see what everybody is saying about the swirly plastic. It does look kind of scary. But my copy is smooth to the touch (probably no cracks) and none of the ratchets feel too tight. First couple of transformations have been smooth and easy in that regard, so I'm not too worried. My copy does have the seemingly widespread loose waist, but that's proven fairly manageable in most poses so far. And I really don't like that waist/torso extension part of the transformation. It's so tight, and it makes a really aggressive pop when it finally comes loose. Nothing is broken, but it sure is nerve wracking.

But the paint on this guy is extraordinary. The two tone purple dino skin, the amazing details in the robot mode, the face sculpts. Just a really fantastic visual experience. I've said it before in regards to these BW MP's, but they do such a great job of bringing out the character personalities in the details and the expressions.

Another Beast Era homerun for TakTom. Bring on Blackarachnia!

Thankfully, that's a problem that pretty much goes away after the first transformation or two, as the small restraining bumps get immediately worn down.

Off topic, but that is a wicked Infinity Gauntlet separate from a Thanos figure for once so the joys of people using it are endless. Where is it from?

On topic, while I was never a BW watcher, but Megatron was always my favorite when people talk about the show. I think one day when the stars align I'll posses me a BW Megatron, and have the one Predecon in my collection :p

Sadly, the (somewhat removable) Gauntlet is from a recently acquired Hot Toys Thanos figure... I say sadly because this guy is like 500 bucks and that's not something anyone would pay for a miniature light-up Infinity Gauntlet. (^.^')

For me, as a huge Thanos fan, I knew that this was a release I could not pass up. My first Hot Toys purchase too. Of course, this just means that I can now do this with all the extra accessories:

Unfortunately as a Thanos fan too 500 is a bit hard to swallow for a very good figure. Then again I'm also having 2nd thoughts on the Mp Optimus V3 when at first I didnt want to lol. Perhaps there are other ways to acquire a separate infinity gauntlet for other toys.

    But...

I had no clue that 3rd party Toys of other franchises were a thing until I found more mini infinity gauntlets.

Me personally am a fan of the closed fist.

Just took Megs into bot mode for the second time and I'm noticing more and more stress marks on those back panel tab and hinge pieces from both the disconnection of pieces and then the rotation of panels to align tabs up when folding the panels up on each other.
Am I in the minority? I have stress marks on at least 3 tabs and at least 2 hinges around the supporting plastic holding the pins. None are too bad but they are there as thin lining on the inside corners of tabs and hinges.
Stressing me out (pun intended) on the lifespan of this figure.
Has anyone else broken any tabs or pieces yet? Anyone had stress marks for a while now despite multiple transformations without them breaking?
That last question is the one I'm hoping for yeses most (not that I wish damage on other people's figures).

Ive transformed mine back and forth twice and suffered no stress to the tabs, however this is because I kept a keen eye this thread and saw a video posted by @oku that showed how to split the back panels by applying pressure to the spine rather than pulling them apart.

I have a few minor stress marks, but only in spots not visible in bot or dino mode.

One tab broken (stressed out of the box), other tabs have stress marks.
