I agree, I don’t see how it indicates you can’t. This pic shows they have the blank space just for it. I’m guessing you can pop out the gray clear part form the inside. I think it’d be cooler if you could fit a diaclone figure into the gun cockpit that seems to be molded in.
I doubt superator will have this feature. Does grinder have this feature? Thus far i think only takara is good in all these auto gimmick
Or just make the toes able to bend back. It would fix that problem and add articulation to the dino mode.
Does the figure include a non IDW robot mode head? I think Grimlock having teeth on his robot mode head is silly. Eh I'll probably stick with Reximus Prime, he does the job well enough. Not a fan of IDW designs being shoehorned into a supposedly G1 figure (just my preference, you can buy what you like).
I want to see a review comparing him with Reximus, Superator looks amazing but still would like to see comparison
These final prototype pics look really, really good. The only FT Dinbot I like more is Snarl as the rear Dino legs fold up inside the feet in bot mode... ala the cartoon and comic. But this Giga Grimlock is a game changer. I might have to rethink my whole Dinbot collection now.
I too was bothered by the Dino legs being outside, but in hand it actually serves to bulk up the lower portion of the body, making him look good. Not saying FT Snarl is bad because I like that one as well. They are different but equally good.

I have FansToys Dinos plus Reximus Prime already but I'm considering picking up this guy too. Because, GRIMLOCK!
Maybe it's just me but i don't really see how this is supposed to be better than Grinder, I still have to buy a Grimlock figure (i dont have the cash to have a full line of dinobots) and I am still undecided between this, Grinder or save some cash and go with Reximus. What are the pros and cons of each?
This has better proportions, at least to me. For articulations and build quality I'm waiting the reviews.
For me Grinder has monkey arms, and that is a big no no for me, only monkey transformers should have monkey arms, same reason I disliked mp10... Oh, and the tiny wasp waist is another issue for me
No one knows the pros and cons of Giga's Grimlock yet. The cons of Reximus are that he's a KO. His build quality leaves much to be desired as far as looseness goes. Faulty electronics and tail/head wag gimmick are also common. Since he's just a bigger MP Grimlock, he keeps the semi articulated left hand and unarticulated right hand. His pros are that he is the legitimate Grimlock, just bigger. He has Autobot logos in place already. His chrome and paint are good.
Negatives for Grinder: - Weird UGG boots look where the lower part of the robot leg just protrudes out - Grinder's weird fat thighs - Impossibly thin lower torso with red Speedo's look - v1 Dino head looks nothing like Grimlock - Usual Fanstoys bad organics - Me Grimlock too small to lead Dinobots - Looks bland Negatives for Giga Grimlock (Superator) - You'll have to wait for next year to have it - When you buy it you'll want to buy the others in the line to keep him company for that awesome team synergy.
