Oh I forgot I didn't rate it; Endgame 7/10, mostly for the effort. The editing and the pacing were so bad. First 30 minutes were an easy 10/10 tho.

    Avengers: Endgame

I expected the absolute worst from spoilers. What did I get? Not the worst per se but definitely not something without its issues. To put it in simple terms: the last few MCU films I had seen — Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel and Infinity War — were all better.

Don't want to get spoilery here, but there was a lot of character derailment here. Thor, Steve Rogers and Thanos got it. Anticlimax wise, this followed up on most Avengers movies and Hulk was involved with it... in a different form than usual and that was not the only anticlimactic part of this movie. There was also some pretty messy plotting going around to where I can't see how anybody could have had so much faith in the Russo brothers despite my liking the Winter Soldier and Civil War.

I also wanted to see a bit more of the post-apocalypse world that the movie is set in, more out of sheer curiosity on how things went down there than as part of curiosity.

However there were a couple good endings and genuinely touching moments as well as tearjerkers. A couple badass moments too.
And Chris Pratt getting knocked out and kicked in the balls. :lol

The movie was also goofy, comedic as all hell. Better than Joss Whedon or James Gunn's attempts at humor, however. But still out of place.

Give this one a 5/10 at most, or a C- if you're into that type of ranking.

    Avengers Endgame - 7/10

This lives up to the title of Endgame on some many levels. They've really made sure to tell you this is an end of an era and it's going to be fun seeing where the MCu goes to next.

Transformers: Dark of The Moon (7/10)

Caught the final act on TV an hour ago. Practically went 100% fanboy mode through the whole thing. What an awesome film from my awesome childhood! Too bad I never picked up a Sentinel and Shockwave toy :(

If I could judge purely by personal opinion a 9000 wouldn’t be enough, but that’s just cheating. I’d give big action films like DOTM a 5-6, considering the camerawork and odd dialogue, but as one of my all time favourite movies I had to give it bonus points. Let’s say the extra 2 came from the special effects, shall we?

    The Avengers: Endgame - 6 or 7/10:

I won't bother posting spoilers, tags or no, because I don't want to ruin it for others. (Guys, seriously, stop doing that. Email notifications actually show what's supposed to be hidden by the spoiler tag.)

Anyway. I laughed, I cried, I applauded and I still walked away let down.

The scope, scale, spectacle... The Russo's nailed it. Perfectly. Good grief, there's a massive... THING towards the end of the film that just fills the screen and keeps your eyes laser locked to the screen, it's a staggering amount of scale and they handled it like a masterclass orchestra being handled by the world's best maestro.

It's the story and loose ends that they severely dropped the ball on. They were so worried about fan service in some areas and pushing agendas in others that it left gaping plot holes throughout the film and it's not just me.

Comments online, as well as people in person (including my wife) share pretty much the same consensus. "It was great, but that scene..." (Take your pick. I have specific ones, but everyone has at least one with this flick...) and a lot of us, my wife especially, can't get past certain issues. They don't ruin the film, but they certainly stick with you in a "it's not how I would've done it." kind of deal.

The conclusion was satisfying in some ways, utterly shocking in others. Go and see it for the spectacle, the conclusion to 22 films and 11 years, but don't dig much past the surface because you'll start to see it fall apart.

I do indeed feel let down, though. I won't go into it here, but just... Some of it's total "meh" at times while others thrill you to no end.

It's just not what you think it'll be, trust me.

    Avengers Endgame

Words and rankings cannot begin to describe how I felt about this movie. This is my favorite movie of the year, this is my favorite MCU movie beating out Ant Man & the Wasp for the top spot! I laughed, I cried, and I most certainly cheered to every jaw dropping moment. This movie was able to perfectly tie a nice little bow on that past eleven years of the MCU with so many call backs and easter eggs to shake a stick at. I'm so happy to be a Marvel fan.

    The Meg

Jason Statham + MILF vs. A giant prehistoric Shark = All kinds of ridiculous "LOL" and "F'k Yeah!" all at once. I was happy with it. Such an impossible story, but fun to watch non the less. Biggest complaint I have was the end credits song: Absolutely cringe-worthy. Some English songs which are sung in Chinese sound cool, but that version of Mickey killed me.

I agree with pretty much everything you said here. It's a really fun movie, but once you get off the hype train and actually pay attention to things it just isn't all that good.
Outside of the one big scene, nothing here had me teary-eyed or whooping with excitement. I think I got more 'feels' from the Lion King and Godzilla trailers than from Endgame.

    Avengers: Endgame - 8.5/10.

I definitely like Infinity War more than this film. I've been saying this for a while, and I wasn't anticipating it to be true, but Endgame is Return of the Jedi to Infinity War's Empire Strikes Back. That being said, I definitely did have a good time watching the film, but there are some issues with the film that I can't overlook.

Kingfish isn't a fan of the MCU, that's a fairly normal rating. What confounds me is why he's bothered to go and see it if they've failed to entertain him pretty much every time.
