him being ‘god’ i think his physical manifestation is more a reflection of his psyche rather than working out. Asgardians are magic based.

Yeah, I think this might be it for me when it comes to the MCU. Might catch a Spider Man or something... we’ll see how good they turn out.
    Otherwise I think I’m done.

    9.999999999999/10

If this were the official end of the MCU it would be a perfect 10, a glorious endcap to the series. But we all know this money train isnt stopping.

Saw it last night. Loved it. Going to see it again. 10/10, AMAZING. I will admit that the movie's climax is so chaotic (in the most perfect of ways) that it makes the rest of the movie seem slow. I wouldn't call it slow or even a drag as what others have called it, just "moderate".

    Time for spoilers:

the time travel plot will be a hit or miss with most movie goers and seems to be one of the most critiqued aspects about the movie. I honestly didn't know that the entire plot was time travel central. That being said, it almost...almost seems too convenient just how *past* Thanos figures things out.

That being my only nitpick, I didn't really feel too much emotion when Natasha died. I guess its due to her and Hawkeye fighting for the suicide jump and knowing what kind of life she's lived - going back to age of Ultron. If anything I felt sorry for Hawkeye. Having to lose his family and then his longtime combat partner. I felt for him.

Iron man dying...geez man. My favorite hero of them all. For other IM fans, we could not have asked for a more noble death. Period. That being said, it killed me. From his death all the way until the little comedic moment when thor joins TGOT, the entire theater was silent and sniffling. Everyone was sniffling. Even after getting home, I felt like i had emotions bottled up still and ready to let go and cry. I was not the same from that moment on in the movie. I will say i was very surprised he and pepper, in the 5 years of recovery from Thanos, managed to have a kid and live a pretty good life. Also very emotional every second he was around his father. Same goes for Thor and his mother.

The final battle. Oh my God. Its something out of...I dont even know. A video game? Cartoon? Has a Marvel/DC...ANY super hero cartoon had that level of epicness??? I'm sure the comics have...but it was just awe inspiring how so many characters...every major super hero as an army vs thanos's army...I honestly wasn't expecting that...just because of how far fetched I believed it would be..simply because a climax on that scale has just never happened before. Truly this was an event that, frankly, I'm not sure will ever happen again in movie history. Not to this magnitude.

    The Russos killed it.

    Saw it last night...

My biggest complaint would be the scattershot tone... it went from depressing to hilarious, sometimes jarringly.

I will say when it was funny, it was damn funny. And yes, the epic moments we all wanted are there. And the last hour was perfect.

Well he said that he thought "it" belonged to someone else. So my guess is the Falcon/Winter Solider series will be about the aftermath with neither of them really using "it", and that series will decide which of them gets it.
Wonder if old Steve will show up in it

    Nope
It’s not just Thor’s state of mind, it’s put across that the Hulk is the strongest in terms of physical strength and endurance. However there is a possibility that Captain Marvel could do it.

In Thor Ragnarok, he was pounding on Thor until the latter had his lightening powers “activated”.

That’s a difference in between “strong” and having some kinda power that negates the former.

In Thanos’ case, it’s his ability to strategized that allowed him to counter and beat the Hulk - that’s what the Russos mentioned.

Even in the movie (Ragnarok) the trick question to activate the ship is “Who’s the strongest Avenger?”...and Thor answered wrongly.

Can’t blame anyone who has that concerned about that ideology. It has (debatably) negatively affected comic book sales in the past and another big movie franchise.

I don’t think you’re wrong. It seemed pretty clear that Bucky was absolutely aware of Steve’s plan to stay in the past and knew he was going to give the shield to Sam. I got the impression that Bucky probably had been in contact with the older Steve.

I think this is spot on. I’m way more excited for that series now.

    True that.
I found the scene in question to be eye rolling to be sure, but definitely not the end of the world or the worst part of the movie.

It could have been much worse.

That kind of thing might (although I'd still argue it will be a small minority). I was talking more about the "fates" of characters, that sort of thing. It didn't seem too controversial. Most of TLJ's complaints seem to be about how they handled Luke, I didn't think there was anything that controversial in this.

Yeah, a couple of my (younger) buddies are now saying that they don’t care what happens in the next movies...this is their OT (you know what movie franchise I’m talking about).

It’s amazing how much things have changed from the first IM movie to this current movie - 10 years.

I still can’t believe they killed off Stark. I mean I expected it but didn’t really think they would pull the trigger.

The time travel in this movie as far as science goes, deals with legit things, like the Grandfather paradox, butterfly effect etc. I think the time travel in Endgame is closer to the Looper style than say BTTF
