Blunt statements like these make soeone like me who contributes to TFWiki cringe.

Coincidentally, though, I did just remove these particular additions - they were in violation of TFWiki's policy not to add information on upcoming toys that has not been confirmed through official sources.

The user who added these has already been banned for vandalism, among other things.

Pro tip: Whenever you're unsure about the reliability of basically any wiki's information, it helps to check an article's history to see when and by whom a particular piece of information was added. If it was added yesterday by a newly-registered user, chances are it's false. If it was added three years ago by a longtime contributor, it has a much greater chance of being reliable. Bonus points if it credits a source.

TFWiki is certainly more reliable than a random comment by Jimbob McUsertron. It's just that at any given moment, you might stumble across false information that lasted only for ten seconds during which you happened to see it.

I remember a long time ago, I got into a big fight with some people about a certain voice actor who voices a certain character. They told me never to read anything from wiki, because some of it is not true.

That sounds like someone who lost an argument and is a sore loser, to me.

    Tell me about it.

Let me just say, I made a quiz where the answer was Keith David voiced goliath, and most people who competed got mad at me and said, "you are wrong. Kevin Michael Richardson voiced him".

    *facepalm*

It's not even like that was an obscure role, or anything.

It's Tombstone in Spectacular Spider-Man where Kevin Michael Richardson took over for Keith David, at any rate, such that anyone could get confused about their roles.

I know. I got that from wiki and everyone says wiki is never right.

I won't say what happened afterwards.

First, "wiki" is not a site. A "wiki" is a catch-all term for a database that can be edited by anyone. Just saying "wiki" is like referring to the TFW2005 forum simply as "boards" in a discussion on another site. Wikipedia is not Wikia/Fandom (urgh) is not TFWiki.

Second, you're referring to one incident to make a blunt statement. Yes, a wiki (especially Wikipedia) can be wrong. But "can be wrong" is not the same as "is never right". I know how much work goes into editing TFwiki. Yes, I've removed incorrect information that's been there for over a decade on occasion. But such is the way of life. If you take that as evidence for unreliability, then nobody is ever reliable about anything, because everyone can be wrong.

That reminds me I had a request on the TFWiki's discussion page for the Live Action Films, regarding adding Continuity Notes for the other films, as so far, only The Last Knight and Bumblebee have both a continuity notes and errors section.

For instance, a Revenge of The Fallen's continuity notes section would have information such as: Bumblebee has been living with Sam, as he said he wanted to at the end of the first film.
Maybe for Dark of the Moon, Megatron is still recovering from the wounds he received from Optimus at the end of the second film.

I didn't want to add anything until I had some type of approval from someone as I'm still a new user on the TFWiki and wasn't sure if that would be allowed.

I'm waiting for an ahhh.... "Early Bird" sample of Long Haul to hopefully pop up on EBay. I dont think I can be patient enough to wait on Long Haul. My fave Constructicon and all. Definitely feel like getting Devasator a bit earlier.

Do you honestly think that Scavenger will be released during the first wave of 2020 and Overload will be like Summer or Fall of 2020?

    Ebay:
Also Hasbro and takara never alternate between size classes for consecutive numbers
So If anything scrapper and mixmaster would be 48 and 49 not 48 and 51

I still have mine from back in the day 09' i think when he orginal came out. I think it's the same time around when the movie came out. I'm so glad i hung on too him but i almost sold mine awhile back. Now hearing that Hasbro is building him again in a time release for in the studio series. I'm REALLY glad i didn't sell mine or i might have regret doing so.

Guys, I don’t mind to bump this thread but I need confirmation that if I buy the individual studio series Constructions, i can combine them into Devastator?

Thanks guys! I’m so out of the loop that I didn’t know the above fact. All I recall was seeing a prototype of Devastator and thought he might be available in a gift set.
