Big enough to fit 10-12 Siege figures (largest being a leader but with space to spare). Single deck but multi-sectioned. About 5' long and 3-4' wide.

If it was non-transforming and made out of relatively thin or hollow plastic, they could feasibly offer something like that for like, $300-$500, maybe less depending on the level of detail and what-not (See: Sail Barge @$500ish). I'd probably go a little bit smaller with it and shoot for the $250-$300 range.

I don’t think there WAS a cardboard Ark playset in the 80s.

There was a STARS Lab from Hasbro, a licensed Fortress activity set by Warren, a small scale electric train playset by Tyco with a cardboard earth power station and one train car that became a base. No Ark playset that I’m aware of except the SDCC one that came with Dinobots circa 2015 and a small Hasbro/Entertainment Earth A4-sized diorama kit made out of cardstock, also at SDCC circa 2015.

They've said they would like to do more Haslab stuff. But I don't think they've gone into much detail as to what they might have in mind.

yeah i think the one i seen was a simple playset and not the ark, maybe we should design one from scratch then, make it printable dimensions and all that, but how big do we want it

Well, if you want it 18 inches tall and in 24 inch sections, Extreme Sets has you covered.

Personally, I think 12 inches tall and 12 inch sections fits CHUG better except for combiners and Titans, who feel to me like they should be “outdoors” with a sky backdrop anyway.

A friend of mine from a SW website now a Facebook group said 3 things that i thought was REALLY interesting. I'd like to see a Unicron but if that happens i REALLY hope i have the cash then to buy it. Here is the list he told me but like i said it's just rumor.

    1. It's been rumor haslab has something cooking for a transformers deal (JUST RUMOR)
    2. The Sail barge is going from crazy collectable to MAJOR holy grail collectable.
    3. At Celebration SW CHICAGO he said the Sail barge was going from $1500 - 3000 which he said talk was if transformers gets a Haslab it's going to go to that status very quickly due to these being a one off

    4. I forgot to add in that some guy bought 10 Sail Barges and had a table selling them himself. He was offering the $1500 and up price tag on them.

Reading things like you have on point #4 makes me sick. If that dude bought 9 of the 10 on the secondary market, fine (I guess) but buying just to flip I hate that. I have no idea how the crowd funding campaign went, if you could one buy 1 or multiples. But for specialty items like these the limit should've been one per. And Hasbro should've included a no resale clause of like 5 years.

Actually, he technically helped it happen as they had to get to "x" number of orders for the project to be made. And the preorders were unlimited but made to order. So, if they had 1,679 orders, they only made 1,679 for distribution (and probably a few more to anticipate returns and other problems at the customer service level).

So, don't get too ill over it. Everyone had an equal shot at these. The only people having to pay $1500 are those that snoozed on it.

As for an Ark from HasLab? Ehhh......I don't think I'd buy that since it would take up WAAAAYYYY too much real estate in my house. If it can't store or display vertically, it's pretty much a no-go.

Unicron is more appealing to me.

Oh i don't know if ANYONE knows but 8800 was sold of the Sail Barges. You can look it up at the site cause my buddy showed me the numbers when i asked him how many was sold. So with that guy buying 10 i wasn't happy either and was VERY angry when my buddy told me. He said the EXACT same thing someone said here that if people didn't do that and yes it's wrong then it wouldn't have happen. So if you remember the numbers had to be there and Star Wars guys where not about to let that slip away just like US TRANSFORMER guys here would do the same. He said i wouldn't be showing you pictures of mine cause it wouldn't exist if people didn't do that. After i thought about that he DID have a good point. Just ask anyone if they heard of a guy selling Sail Barges there at the show. Plus sometime ago BBTS had some as well on their site but sold out quickly even though they where $1500. You had to put some money down on the purchase of course and it wasn't refundable if you change your mind.
