Getting MPM Megatron and posing him with MPM Prime has made me remember how great a figure he is!

A to what a new one would look like, I would think it would either be a leader with a ton of paint to justify price, or a voyager. from the size of him, voyager seems more likely.

 

Yeah, I’m so thirsty for any news on Devy. I’d honestly take one of those blurry images with purple blotches and shit all over it. I’m wondering if Long Haul will be released around the same time Ironhide was last year, like just popping up out of no where.

 

Right now, that is all I want to focus on for Studio Series now. Just get Long Haul as soon as possible.

 

DOTM Prime doesn't come with the Matrix! Man... I just realized it. What a shame.   They really missed an opportunity of including such a nice detail.

We have not seen leaks these days. Is that normal? Or all that leaks that came before SS starts were something unusual?

 

Huh. Maybe they could save it for a fallen toy.

 

Right now, our most recent leak is wave 8 Voyagers being Bonecrsher and Rampage, Possibly Yellow Rampage. Other than that, I hope for leaks but probably won't be anytime soon.

 

Damn. I’m probably the only one who doesn’t care about SS38. The guy’s pretty rare here in my country, but when I saw him (just once), I bought Rampage instead. The guy looks too G1 for him to fit in my mostly-movie collection, and he wasn’t my favorite design in the BB movie. However, I see photos of this guy everyday, and I get tempted (to join the bandwagon). Funny enough though, the coolest thing I see on the guy is his rifle. Damn that rifle looks so cool.

You're lucky to have even seen him man, he's like the mythical unicorn to me...

 

He does fix the terrible proportions of the movie model but I find him SUPER overrated since I owned him. I mean don't get me wrong, he's a GREAT figure, but I find Megatron, Starscream, and Ironhide better than him.

Nope, I’m there with you too. Although I understand his popularity, I don’t feel any attachment or desire to have him. Because of my one character-one toy collecting rule, I’d much rather have the Prime I grew up with over a Prime design that just came out a few months ago.

 

To be fair, a lot of people grew up with the design he's heavily based on, so.... makes sense for both sides of the coin 

(unless you want to factor in that 3rd side of the coin where they complain about everything.... idk why they still visit here...)

 

Imo this guy can probably fit into both a G1 and a movieverse collection. He might not be for everyone, but at least in my opinion he's my favorite SS release to date, and that's coming from a person who didn't even like the bumblebee movie lol! I even kinda like the toy's proportions more than the CGI character model.

Unfortunately I don't have rampage to compare him too, and we're all after different things with regards to collecting, but this guy is a solid recommend from me (as someone who wasn't initially going to get him, and hopped on the bandwagon later on). If you're on the fence and have the spare cash, maybe give him a go the next time you see him. If not, I wouldn't push yourself into a purchase you might regret  

I'm just curious, but which prime are you going with? I feel like there's so many cool prime figures on the market that I'd find it hard to limit myself to just one lol!
