Looks awesome......can you please comment on the ratchets...where they are located and if the knees have the ratchets? Would love to hear your thoughts on tolerances particularly with robot mode as Fans Toys SixShot was a disaster in my humble opinion.

I'm not great when it comes to describing articulation but he has front and back hip ratchets, but none going outwards - just friction. I think the knees are double ratcheted. Ankles have them too.

Waist feels like friction and I don't think there are ratchets in the arms but there is a nice butterfly joint for outwards movement. Ab crunch is possibly ratcheted

Thanks, first set of photos that make him look reasonably good and I like that he scales almost well with the right-sized Stunticons.   Have you given him a shake test? In Paik's video it looks like he has that ugly loose ratchet joint syndrome in his shoulders and possibly hips as well. How're his joint tolerances?

I guess. But then again people are very slow to notice these things i.e. nowadays Baba will drop his price AFTER release. He knows Western customers well. FIRST!!!!

 

Heh, yeah, I love that shot of him screaming at the XTB Stunticons. I'm actually fine with him being a head taller than Optimus, as it gives him an excuse to think he should be "King of the Road" over him.

Watched the @Paik4Life (thank you for the awesome video) review and it just confirms this as being my Stunticons choice. I especially like the feet to the front cab part of the transformation. The panels are to be expected since this is an all-in-one transformation and the backpack isn't hateful (like MP-28's is). i can't wait to get this guy and now I need the rest of the team!

 

Are you getting both the FT and XTB Stunticon sets? Or is MM a stand alone bot for you?

I'm in on the XTB set and did not have any plans to get the FT set, but thanks to pictures such as these coming in now, I'm close to making MM an impulse buy as a stand alone MM (assuming I can refrain from the other FT Stunticon limbs).
