i wish they would have had the CMC as singles for g4.5. i know they were in a set with a BAZEEN of accessories and Bore 6. zzzzz
I was waiting for them to be sold without all the sets, that's why I never picked them up in stores. This lady was selling a lot with ponies and a castle.
Wasnt there supposed to be a release of them with cutie marks? I know there was a subsequent release of the original markless CMC with cheerilee, silver, twist, and some generic filly (star sprinkle?) - I picked up the original CMC 4 pony set so i had to acquire Silver, Twist, and Star through taobao via a middleman on another site (still need their glasses).
I thought my 3 yr old would be thrilled I got her the CMC. YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID? Where are the cutie marks? Because those ones in the picture don't have them. Kids want them how they look in the show, come on hasbro. I put these ones with my pony collection, since she isn't interested in the markless ones. sad.
Well, AFAIK, the marked ones also have fancy shirts on them. Alternatively, I wonder if custom water slides might be a possibility. Their CMs dont have white in them which is the only real issue when trying to print them.
here's the G4.5 CMC set: https://www.walmart.com/ip/My-little-pony-school-of-friendship-collection-pack/415933463 i just don't want the rest of the set or the painted shirts.
What makes you think something is wrong with G2? I don't have any yet, but aside from one or two qc issues, I've not heard about them having mass problems all across the board. They were popular in Europe and the UK, from what I'm told, and the massive backlash in the US, was actually due to the drastic design change. Pity. Europe/UK got some pretty sweet designs as the gen went on. Babies Nosy and Click, Princess Trixiebell, Puff, Babies Fire and Flame, Eve, Miss Painter, Copper Glow, Prince Firefly, Princess Crystal, Snowball, Hip Holly, Teddy. Rainbow Forest They look to have some pretty good accessories and playsets too. @gabumon What's a bazeen? Is that like bazillion?
What the hell? I could have bought that set and would have saved me a whole lotta headache..... Another n00b question. What's next for MLP? Is this scale done? Was there protos shown like they do for TFs at like SDCC or a toy show?
I think they'll always produce the "playful pony" brushable scale. AFAIK It's a big mystery as for what comes next. They haven't announced anything new this year. Maybe they will at SDCC this summer? They're rebooting the cartoon so maybe they want to wait until that wraps up?
We don't know what the next gen will bring to the table. There's been a lot of speculation and wishing in the pony community for going back to the larger 4-5 inch ponies, for better QC, for going back to more horse-like designs, for returning to variety in the brand. We have seen concept art possibilities, but no one has heard anything on the toy front.
Just that the G2 ponies my has look really out of place with the ones she has. The designs are different that G1/3
My never-grail pony came! I never thought I'd find this cute little guy for so cheap! I couldn't stop taking pics of him. This is Baby Racer. He's from the Playtime Baby Brothers set. Shown here with one of his setmates Baby Drummer. Here he is with proud papa Trucker. And with equally proud aunty Speedy. He even got to meet fellow sports car enthusiasts.
Excellent! a perfect pal for Transformers. Congratulations. Some day I'll get my grail - Mountain Boy Lightening. Some day.
Lucky! Guess I'll be hitting the local TJ Maxx tomorrow. Was already planning a trip to Ollie's (virtually next door) to make use of the 25% off coupon I got in the email.
