Hi，just want to explain more to make everything clear，the hip pieces I think you mean the leg lengthening parts （or can you guys give me a more accurate word for this）？They are made as bonus only cuz they would demage the vehicle mode，but some Chinese buyers do like them as they make the ironhide taller and with better proportion of its figure，so the studio keeps them in the set as bonus.

Talking about this kind of parts，we do have another set for SIEGE Ultra Magnus. See photos as below. This set really improve the robot mode a lot and is very popular among Chinese collectors. What is your feeling about it？

This one wont damage the vehicle mode anyway.

 

Thanks for the quick reply and confirmation that the vehicle mode won't be workable with the thigh extensions. I probably won't use them now, but the rest of the kit is still great.

 

I like the way those parts make Ultra Magnus look. I’d buy them so I hope those will be available through your store in the future.

Honestly I think most of the Siege figures could use similar parts to improve their robot mode proportions just a bit.

 

Personally I disagree, I find that most of the parts that make the siege figures taller throw the proportions out of wack and make them look very off

 

yeah Id be interested in buying the Ultra Magnus set also, hope it becomes available on your site as well

 

I agree that the majority of the parts out there to make the siege figures taller go too far and do throw the proportions off. However to me most of the Siege figures are very squat either in the torso or their thighs and need some form of minimal boost to make them look better proportioned in my eye.

Seemingly it is controversial，like or dislike is very personal I think. Anyway a common thought in China about this Ultra
magnus is that his legs are abnormally too short. That is why this thigh extension is really popular here. No offense，just to let u guys know.

 

I definitely want the Soundwave parts. I love that the arm fillers are hinged for transformation.

Guys some update.

First batch of 80 sets （Ironhide Gap fillers）totally ordered up，thank for your guys support.

We have done a short video for Ironhide gap fillers，see below.

SIEGE ultra magnus thigh extension would come out soon.

We had a discussion with Tim Haeda also. We would put on shelf their gap filler for SIEGE soundwave next week （white model only，no painting，that is their style）.

Someone needs to tell that TF safari website that you really not ideal to splash people's real names up on the screen saying what they just bought - I don't think it's even legal in many countries.

Anyway putting that to the side I know there would be some interest in a torso expander for Shockwave to make him a bit taller.

As for the Ironhide shoulder filler - it would be great if they were reversable and had a 5mm hole on the reverse giving those who want it the option of turning the should square holes into 5mm mounting points. or covering the holes up if installed the other way.

Perhaps it may be possible to drill or fill the back out and do it yourself depending on how the reverse side is shaped.

Yes well it needed mentioning it's not exactly ideal.
Not being nasty about it - it's just a thing some people are very sensitive about - not much point having a secure checkout if you then use you customers real names for marketing purposes when they can't even use another name to post to as they only ship to a registered paypal address.

That would be a bit off putting to those sensitive to issues of date security I suspect. Heck it's bad enough that anyone selling from China by law has to give details of their customers to the state without giving it to random passers by as well.

So maybe they should clarify what is going on with that is it only doing that marketing thing to people who are logged in customers or is it doing it to people who buy without logging in too - if it is doing it to logged in customers it might be an idea to annoymise their data a bit or ask they to use a user name - as user name and location is a little less worrisome.

I don't think they ment anything bad by this - it's likely just a cultural difference - but one I though was worth mentioning.

 

Really looking forward to the Ironhide kit.

Can’t say the Ultra Magnus hips are all that important to me, but I’ll probably throw them in with my eventual Soundwave order.
